I flew there when I had XP installed. It's big but lacks sort of substance in the long run once you have mapped out the sector and ships. I craved more interaction even back then and now I'm just stuck with no connection problem and doing single player of Discovery. :(

If you are into pvp then it's a place to go. But if pvp is not your main cup of tea then pass.

Flying under radar.

Yeah let him talk about Void. I want the forum to know how it lacks.

I played on void for months and mapped everything, before disco. Some systems are cool... but man. It sucks gas. Every thing is so dark. Every second vanilla system has a zoner planet with same texture and same radiation at docking ring. Every third guy sells eagle titan and sabre on the same planet.

They have a few good things but they were not able to put it together well enough for my taste.

Compared to that DISCO rocks.

Sadly, we get lots of Void-ers here as well. Well, at least I think we do

Your comment insults me deeply, there are more of us than you will ever know.
Generalizations and irrational judgments such as yours keeps our past in the dark.

I think allot of of us have tried out "Void" on our search for the holy grail of FL servers.. But you find out very quick how shallow the server is, if you like everything handed to you on a plate (a nexus system where you can travel to all the main houses from one system which makes trading very easy) and you love none stop PvP with no sign of any RP then the place is for you.

For me I got bored very quick.

Ok folks...stop slamming VOID...its there for people who just want to get out and fight...no big issue there....whether someone knows how to RP on Disco RP has nothing to do with VOID and everything to do with that person...stop being so shallow yourselves

Good call. In fact, whilst the players of VOID may be PvP whores, that itself isn't a problem... they know that there is a time and place for it, that place being VOID. Each to their own.

never tryed void, But I know its a PVP oriented server, its normal for players there to PVP all day, and when they are coming here, they must take some time to acclimate themselves.

here thing are RP oriented, it match better with my gameplay style.

I love to PVP but sometimes I need a break.

Maybe things in Void mods aren't as elaborated as the disco mod, but consider that on Void, PVP is more important, you don't really care of the system you are in or whats sold on stations/planets like we do here because of RP (indeed we are a bunch of RP-freaks XD)

Void and Disco are a totaly different thing.

Like I said, I'm probably going not going to bother trying it. I think I'll stick with Discovery. I was just wondering about it because it seems nearly as popular. Though When I looked at the forums only 2 people were on...

I've learned about roleplaying first on freelancer. Ever since, well, pvp servers just seems boresome.
On vanilla pure pvp server, its all coming down to sabre and eagle fights. talk about variety...
