"Teta-chan!" Amaya gasped. "You won't leave me alone with that bottle, will you? That would be most unkind." She pouted while filling her cup.
"Besides! Didn't we have orders to get really drunk? I thought we did." She then smiled warmly at Teta. "Is it because you think you could lose control when you're drunk? Oh, don't worry. I'll take good care of you. It's kind of my duty."
Amaya then filled Teta's cup as well and took a small sip of hers.
"I... guess that were my orders. Well, just make sure to... not let me near that Umibozu!" She giggled, grabbing her cup again, emptying it as if she was ordered to do so, as she actually was.
"Soo, in which wing do yuu uusually serve, Amaya...chaan? I am in the same one as that baka over there causing so much of a ruckus!" She pointed at Taiyouji san, but was looking at Amaya curiously again the next moment.
She smiled again as Teta gulped down her sake. It would have been a pity for their small party to end early. "Well.. I usually don't patrol that much. The gunboat I command is mostly used for emergency situations. The rest of the time we just spend with boring training and simulations and... ugh." She rolled her eyes and emptied her cup.
"Oh! So that is why yuu so enthusiastic about some distraction... from not doing much." She nodded understanding. "Emergency gunboat, hai." She continued to just nod for a while, until reluctantly drinking another cup of sake, as ordered.
"How did yuu even get that post, Amaya chaan, yuu seem far to lively for just sitting around waiting for emergencies!" Looking at Amaya questioningly, she started to make her own guesses already.
She quietly continued sipping her sake while thinking about what to answer. "Well... I have to admit. I'm not really that good with those fighter things.. you know."
Amaya sighed silently. "I quickly enough got command of a gunboat, but I'll probably never make it any further."
Then she smiled softly. "To be honest, I like my gunboat. I get to order around all the gunners and everybody has to listen to me..
And I'm not made for any of those high ranks."
Smiling brightly, she knew that kind of experience. "I am not good with the fighter things, too. Yet~!" She emptied another cup to wash away that concern.
"So...", she giggled, "ordering people around... It must be fun to be commander once, too!"
After drinking just another cup, Nakamura san fell silent on her stool, just smiling about and swaying a little to not fall off.
Amaya smiled softly. "Hai, sometimes it is.."
"Though, sometimes it's also very exhausting."
Then she finished her cup and watched Teta for a while.
"Ne, Teta-chan. You look like you're ready for bed."
She pushed her cup away and stood up. "You think you can still find your way home?"
Holding on to the counter, Teta tried to stand up as well. Braving this now challenge and wobbly on her feet at last, she responded to Amaya, "Actually..." Starting to look around and repeatedly smirking at her companion, "I... I almost do!"
After contemplating her surroundings for a while, she raised a hand in front of her mouth to cushion her voice and asked Amaya with a puzzled look on her face, "Where... are we again, Amaya chan?"
Not too concerned about her disoriented state, Teta continued to smiled at the Commander, completely trusting her to still know the answer.
Amaya glanced at Teta quite surprised, trying to find out if she was serious or not. "uhm.. Teta-chan? You remember that this is the blossom tea room, hai?"
She giggled a bit. "It really seems like you can't deal with sake too well."
This girl certainly didn't know much about the Tokyo nightlife, Amaya pondered.
"Ah, nevermind. Do I need to bring you home then? I'm kind of responsible for you I guess."
Letting go of the counter, Teta started stumbling forward, grabbing Amayas arm after some steps to not fall over. Leaning on her shoulder then, she almost whistled right into her ear, "Go- gomen, Amaya chan!"
In voice as wobbly as her composure, she continued, "I know this is the tea room... just forgot how I got here!" Realizing the Commander already offered to escort her home, she agreed, "I would be grateful... if yuu could help me find my way back... to the living quarters."
