and salamanca need to stay on current speed. because all corsairs use tizones/coladas and they have the same speed. and when you make salamanca mk3 class 10 then it will be better use code weapons because some of them with 3,03 refore are stronger and need less energy, it will be better to improve the current salamanca mk2

He might be one of the best pilots, but he is comparing his ability in the Titan to his own ability in other ships, therefore negating the matter of his skill in the testing.

i mean, that for not best pilors is realy hard to hunt raven. for him it was not so big problem,but for big group of titan pilots is it problem

First round, I lasted...five seconds? Thats being generous. He didn't even fire any guns, just razor and missiles.

Second round, I got him to half hull.


This has barely anything to do with anything except: Get missiles, and Titans are no threat what so ever.

Welll get missiles and Sabres are not threat either... I know it from training fights with RoS :)

We all keep saying the same thing. Any vanilla ship is useless against missiles compared to the Disco ships. The playing field needs levelling somehow. (Not being a modder I don't know the ins and outs). I think all factions which currently (for RP) are forced to use vanilla ships need a ship which has similar stats but without the components. Ironically if this was done I'd be asking for missiles to be improved slightly, as they seem next to useless against non-Vanilla ships.

If we took missiles out of the equation I think the Titan vs other VHFs would be much closer to call.

well some points:

- missiles are not usefull in any other than 1vs1 fight

- they take hardpoint places

- all vanilla ships are more agile than comparable non-vanilla

- they can be dodged even in a Titan... but you have to watch it... Zavier obviously didn't expect it...

- they can be CDed right into your enemies face...

- or you can just wait until he runs out of them ;)

I dont think thats wholely correct Blunt, as the better the pilot you are, the more easily he the pilot can compensate for deficiencies and not notice them. I used to be able to do this, but im on my way down, so I can't anymore. In which case, Mjolnir is probably a better pilot than I am ...

With that said I can understand that the Titan isn't that bad in 1v1's. Its because it isn't bad in 1v1's. If you find yourself getting shot by five people, and you're in a Wrath, it doesn't take too much to dodge them all, but the same cant be said for the Titan. Wideness = bad thing.

Having flown with the Titan for a long time, I don't really think there's any particular thing about it which shines above and beyond all the rest. The large powerplant is good, but that said its not hard to handle a mini razor and 6 black widows on an Eagle and come out on top... and the widow's alone drain the Eagle plant in about five seconds, which puts into perspective that it takes double the time for four codenames and two salamanca's to drain from a Titan.

Also, I think I'm going to get a cannonball now and firestalker now! I got two useless salamanca's sitting on the wingtips that are just dieing to get used!

Well, not useless, but they do so little damage compared to my codenames that I don't really notice...

Heh.. My problem, Mjolnir, is that I have 400 ping on a good day. I can't CD anything smaller than a heavy gunboat---even then, the CD just goes straight past them.

As McNeo put it so nicely, it really isn't a problem to fight in a Titan 1vs1 or 2vs2.
2vs2 of course harder, but still doable.

5vs5 and more - almost impossible.
No matter how good you dodge, if 5 people are aiming your Titan, you are going down.
That is the real problem, because Sabre can dodge for much longer, it is so fast.
Not to speak about that Bloody Dragon HF, it can dodge 10 people if the pilot likes it.
Raven Talon also can dodge due to it's size.
Viper can dodge..
But Titan can't!

but for 5vs5 I would pick 5 LFs any time...or 5 HFs... hence fix Centurion/Decurion/Arwing

also I think McNeo meant 1vs3+++, that's not really a good thing to do in a Titan...

but btw.. Crow is pretty bad in a fight like that also...agility doesn't help much.. when you have lvl 9 shield and a big hitbox.

But..I want to try 5vs5 in a Titan....

In the last TBh vs RoS one Titan was able to evade 5 Sabers most of the time...
