Proposal: Remove Battleships from the Zoner ID.

Have anyone noticed that Kazinsal is proposing to remove zoners bs from zoner id and while he was making an application for an official faction with zoner cruisers/bs on freelancer/pirate/vagrant raiders ID?

The hypocrisy of this situation is just stunning ..

I'm sorry, please tell me where I said I intended to have a zoner BS for the VR, or where we said we were going to just up and buy zoner cruisers for the VR.

In case you hadn't seen, we like to RP a buttload before even considering making something happen for real.

Still why would a pirate faction need a battleship? Like you stated priorly it would be the same as why need a zoner a cap? As you seem to forget that if a zoner gets attacked he/she may only shoot in self defense. Its the ONLY faction who cannot engage themselves and its only limited for the time you are engaged with.

also a 3 year old RP doesnt mean its an active one. I can make a post come back years after that and say look its x years old. While my contribution towards the community would be like 0.

Still you see it wrong i would say remove it all. Even none for TAZ/phoenix. as Zoners are zoners. Like you said, but by doing so the corsairs, your VR and such would also have to suffer with the same balance.

I'm remarkably poor compared to most people, and I want it gone.

Hell I've only had an LDread and an LSC as my biggest ships in 4.86.

And a Ranseur that was given to me and I sold.

Just to add some fuel to the fire:

VR caps are roleplayed, they come from somewhere with strings attached, unlike the Zoner cap line that magically appeared in two decades from out of thin air, and without any consequences by local power mongers like Corsairs, Core or even LSF for that matter.

While caps are relevant to discuss for a lot of factions, the single most nonsensical situation is the Zoner one; not just for aesthetic reasons, but because they inadvertently transform the faction into something it is not (and cannot ever be realistically) and promote negative gameplay.
