Snubcraft being incapable to traverse through one system is invalid and let me tell you why. Back in Vanilia, Corsair NPC's were spotted on Trafalgar in New London. Count how much they've got jumps to make to any closest base of theirs? It is all the way in Omega 5 (!) from where Corsairs had to travel through Cambridge first. Transport escorts are travelling with their respective cashcows from shipping platform to its equivalent in other house (!). The Order and surprisingly the Core (having no carrier-capable ships, ever saw something remotely close to a hangar on Mako?) can operate with snubs all the way, making war through... snubs mainly (!). Now imagine Hudson and Galileo in vanilia times where they did had not a single lawful/neutral base to dock on! Let's not forget Corsairs again hauling their four letters all the way to Kusari and Blood Dragons moving all the way from Chugoku to Shikoku to free their battle brothers/sisters from local prison station.

To cool down potential overloard of information, let's talk about what snubcrafts and freighters are and can do in addition. Obviously capable of keeping little guy inside alive for super-extended ammount of time (neccesary for any practical purpose in deeper parts of the system). They have FTL drives of their own, allowing them to move in unrestricted manner within given system. They are found escorting freighters in edge worlds which are doing what? I've personally observed Zoner DROMEDARIES delivering supplies to Meshkenet, Omicron Zeta. Same goes for any freeport in Omicrons - big ships as NPC's are solely represented by other factions.

@Omicron: i have already explained the how and why to echo, cause he had asked - i honestly don t care much what you think. - for all i care you can keep thinking you have it right.

personally - although i am not really a fan of it - i have actually suggested removing the zoner caps ever since 4.84 ( surprised? ) - and it had been discussed multiple times in the dev chat.

maybe ( and it has not happened yet ) - if the two zoner factions that allow caps agree on it - and make an official request - we can again think about it. - taz and phoenix must be aware though that it would affect them just the same - after all, they represent the faction, they are not semi closed like nomads or scra.

as a matter of fact - i would love zoner caps being retconned.- for other reasons though i guess.


but yea - these things do only really work when the actual faction representatives ask for a nerf. since you are phoenix - convince your faction to make an official request - get TAZ on board - and you might just get your will.

but - i guess we won t see such an official request on the dev board - so yea - much ado about nothing - and lots of late summer drama

thats correct - all it needs is an official request by the official factions - and things can get rolling.

we would then discuss how it would affect gameplay for the factions - and if / how it could be done. - probably with official faction leader support how they think their faction(s) might adapt to a new situation.

that is most certainly nothing for x.87 - but could become a serious discussion for 88 - and also probably a pro-active one - cause it concerns real progression and change.


@Omicron: sorry - but i can only say : "pathetic" - like a 7years old trying to treasure a piece of "evidence" for later out of context use to score "a win" ... hurray for you, dude lol

I still think replacing the Nephilim with a vessel that wont be misused would simply be easier and create less QQ...

1.it's not about fighters being able to travel and carrie the necessary supplies for a period of time,it's about..well..living in car for a few weeks/months without being able to move,etc..
If you say it's possible and you have done it..then, my friend..you have my deep sympathy
2.This is not vanilla with only fighters,so..stop comparing it to this mod !
