So after being Looted, bullied, robbed, made fun of, blown away etc etc... I was just wondering on average how much money can a Pirate make in a day by looting people.
PS: It's not funny when you blow up a Trader with 5000 Gold Ore RIGHT OUTSIDE ROPPONGI STATION
Depends what they ask for, how they go about it, how much they want RP or just money. You can make a fair bit if you've got the firepower to scare them or know how to extort cash.
I mostly play unlawful 'cause it's a lot of fun. But I RP and sometimes let them go if they RP well.
Well if they spend an hour pirating, and ask for 5 mil credits for each trader, and get 20 traders to come through and each pay thats 100 Mil in an hour..
So it can be quite profitable but pirating should not be your only way of making money.
Pirates dont make their money from actual pirating. It is hard to come by a trader that actually wants to pay and not get blown up.
Pirate ID is either used by pvp-whores for cheap fights, "torture traders" and role-players such as Benitez (they use Corsair ID through). Personally never found this path interesting to me.
It really depends on your pirating style.
When and if I need to, I can make a lot of money via pirating.
20 million per trader hauling ore is good. You can charge higher/lower depending on how you feel.
I charge 45 million on convoys on the grounds I'll leave them alone.
tl;dr when I'm rping, I charge low (2-5 million) when I need money I ask for what I want (15-20 million).
If you are hitting ore traders, then you usually get around 3000 of ore per trader, all you need is a friend to pick it up. So that is quite profitable. But many simply use the pirate IDs to smack around traders, which is funny as hell (Speaking as a pirate). Still, nothing can trump the Xeno ID. Oh, you are not one of the three large trading factions of liberty? Feel free to start sobbing.

Neither. I do it for the roleplay. In fact most traders I stop, I just ask a few questions then I let them go. That being said it's also not funny when your in the middle of typing a sentence to a trader and then a Cruiser disengages from a tradelane right infront of you and then blast you without ever saying a word.
So by being a Pirate we can do a bit of everything. Role playing, Making Money, Fighting off rivals, running away from trouble and "Torture Traders!" I intend to make a Pirate char soon
