For some reason I thought World War Z would be a sequel to War Of The Worlds, i was mistaken big time.

God know out of where, a zombie virus broke out on a global scale. Yadda-Yadda-Yadda, cities are lost to the walking dead, there is no hope....except there is one little engine that could. He finds the temporary solution to the problem. The fight is not over, but it is a start.

If you have seen 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later that is what this movie is about, except it is on a global scale. The movie has no beginning and no ending, kind of an episode taken from a timeline.

p.s. His wife took a huge fall from an ugly tree, but that is beyond the point.

Funny highlight: When Jews were singing their Harri-Krishna, while zombies got over their wall....NO TIME TO CELEBRATE, IDIOTS.

I give this movie 7/10. It is ok to watch, but nothing special.

Piracy is bad, but DVDs are expensive and crap quality.

Netflix maybe?

Oh wait, US-only.

World War Z was way different to any other zombie movie out there.

It was more from the perspective of the government/military, than the perspective of a group of survivors. It also favored tense moments over exploding heads.

Quality zombie movie.
