The past is history.

Tomorrow is a mystery.

But today is a gift.

That is why it is called the present.

"I've just realisted that Poland is the only country in the world that conquered Moscow and held it for over two years."
-me

"The Russian Federation* is the only colonial nation that survived Second World War with that status."
- Dr Mariusz Misztal, lecture about English Colonialism

* Russia isn't big country; it's just that small chunk in Europe mostly around Moscow. It's Russian Federation what is big - what was suprising for me, since we just use Russia when we speak about the Russian Federation. Even the wikipedia shares this mistake.

Oh, another one, after analysis on the roots of the gaming cards:

"This sounds like kind of nonsense when I think that dominoes, cards and Mahjong have the same roots - the dice."

"It makes me wonder to think there are men who make a show of their love.
Why add pain to a heart, already wounded by love?
It they have no love for her then why do they hide their hatred?
But an evil man loves an evil word more than his soul."
