After reading about what your corporation has to offer, I am very excited to pursue this opportunity with you.

I am not going to bore you with the details of my life, but in summary I was born on Freeport 7 to parents (now deceased) that happened to be docked there during a trading run. I grew up aboard ship until the time of their death when I was a young man. I was sent to live with my father's brother on New Manhattan where I was chained to a desk for years. Upon my uncle's death, I inherited enough credits to escape the suffocation of House life. In the short period of time that I have been free and back among the stars I have learned the basics of mining and re-familiarized myself with trading. I have recently acquired a series ZBT-100Z 2 Transport, so I believe I am ready to be of service.

I won't lie to you, I am absolutely a greenhorn regardless of my starfaring childhood. I have a lot to learn, but I am a quick study and a hard worker.

I am very interested in joining OSI, and if you are willing to invest the time to train me, I guarantee I will be an asset to you.

The company went bankrupt yesterday and I lost the job.
Over the years I visited a lof of system. My neural net is full of important trade routes and bases.

Greetings to the honorable OSI leadership!

I will not rob your time too much with my detailed life story. I am a freelancer. Captain of the Albatross class transport ship 'Mercurius'. I have travelled from one side of Sirius to the other and I have seen many things. From the painful look on a wounded soldier's face to the joy of a starving child when he gets a pack of food. I have seen the desperation on the faces of civilians being robbed by a handful of blokes. And I have also seen the same desperation on the faces of the robbers themselves.

That's why I think a transport ship is the most valuable of all. If every single person would get their daily dose of food and water there would be ten times less robberies. Not only in space but - more importantly - on the ground where the majority of people live. I've seen surplus food dumped into the garbage containers while a few systems away food is a desperately sought commodity. And many people have never even seen a roll of toilet paper! After all the years of traveling around I am sure that cargo space is more valuable than battleship turrets are.

I have my own ship with my own crew. Why would I like to join you?
A few months ago I have made a promise to a few dozens of people. Honest workers and unemployed scientists mainly. They had no perspective and I offered them the chance for proper life conditions. I have utterly failed and so I could not keep my promise. I'm still in touch with some of them but after unfortunate events most of those people had to flee into the border worlds in hope for a better life. I've never had an untroubled sleep since the day I failed those people. I MUST find them and keep my promise!

As for the money. I need it just like everyone else. I need it to patch the holes on the Mercurius after a nasty asteroid hit or a long journey through radiative systems. I need it to pay my crew and to buy the cargo I need to deliver. Occasionally I contact my miner friend from the IMG to buy some unrefined metal ore. Transporting these seems to be the most profitable business today. Though I have my own money reserves I know money alone doesn't worth anything. It must be used where it is needed the most!

I would be honoured to join Omicron Supply Industries since I believe you are the masters of cargo distribution not only in the Omicrons but in entire Sirius. You have a flawless reputation among all of the Houses and your pilots know the route through even the hardest asteroid belts of the edge worlds. I believe our philosophies are very similar and still we have a lot to share with each other.

I hope you will accept my request to join you.
