Totaly agree on this, it would be 1 net step ahead toward enjoyment of the ship while not ruining anything (trade firepower for some range at low speed and just a bit of refire); BC will still be an easy cookie if just by mistake forget about that range towards BS cerbs of Agile (and there is where the Skill of the BS comes in!) dread, osiris,SARISSA and most off all Valor's Area damage due to spreaded large amount of front oriented guns (aand the miraculously FG,pulses);also i dont know if it is just me but i noted that prims ''tend'' to avoid target a bit while cruiser cerbs are holding more precision, within the limit of the 800 speed of course, therefore the BC pilot will have to choose:Cerbs-lower range but heavy damage and precision or Prims-long range but not so the ''Hit tool''; eitherway: i think BS too would be right to get at least 2 more primaries for anti-AnyCap (while BC keeps same number of wep, just get's some choice) since prims are of no use anti-snub anyway and in doing so Light agile cruisers (also BC) will no more just dodge and not fear the BS wich supposed to be the ultimate Beware Cap right? as for the gunboats, cruiser prims and cerbs misses them big time and i dont think that a GB should be able to dodge (or even kill) forever in 2, 300m cruiser fire [cruiser retreating from BS fire] since secondaries are sooo flawed against everything),So some weapon choice,diversity on battlecruisers would be quite welcomed by the users who know what they do with a cap without making those OP. just ease the leash a bit, but i admit , the BS will definetly need 2 more prims if this is going to go ON! i dont mind being blown to dust in a BC by the Skilled bigger brother..that's ok it's supposed to be so. Now for Testing this possible implementation or maybe just ideea please do not mistake just any ''new guy'' for a skilled cap pilot...you know...just do not limit testing only around your friend circle of players.
