hm,i know that most of these problems, i mean only be somewhere and shooting everythign that is red or neutral make capwhores.what about make a type of sanction that when oyu make this type of troubile 1 time fine,when second time, bye bye ship. i think then will all in cap ships take a big care of that. because i am angry when bh battlecruiser hunt my fighter and i am angry when i see corsairs in cap ships shooting to everything in liberty. when someone rp his cap ship he never make things as these in this topic and when someone will only show others that he is the biggest then he loose his ship.

well, I usually dont like people writting in my cap letters.
But, I got to agree, this is a real problem we've got. Most BHG are just an annoyance. Yesterday I was contacted by an idiot (and I was in my LNS Citadelle de Quebec. Common. A liberty dread.)
He wanted me to do IMG missions for him, going in Leeds buy him cool weapon, and help him out.
I told him this was blatantly oorp and he better stop talking to me.

In the case of a BHG battlecruiser engaging a junker CSV or collector you'd only need two battlerazors or an inferno and a mortar. More likely just two salvoes of all the 'normal' turrets to blow them up.

This is just the results of pvp-capship-spammage.

That 'I'm in a capship I can do what I like' attitude bugs the hell outta me.

Don't get me wrong, marauder. I agree that this behavior is below standards. I find the whole BHG/Mercenary working for free demeaning to RP. I mean, if you want to fight for a cause, join one of the House forces. The problem is the alleged latitude the BHG ID grants, in the range of the ships you are allowed to use and in the without boundaries area of action. The BHs are largely seen as a Sirius wide military/police, answerable to no one. If the Mercenary ID granted the owner right to fly capitals, the BHs wouldn't be the problem, but the Mercs.

I'm inclined to think that in this particular case, the guy entered the fight with a "shoot-the-reds-not-the-greens" mentality and ended up killing the Junker without even realizing what it was.

What I was trying to say is that even though a BC can fairly easy kill a fighter class ship, showing the message window without a issued warning next to it is pretty much circumstantial.

Thats the whole point. You have to type a warning before firing. The only times I haven't is when someone has declared (or not more usually) and opened on me.

@gronath: yeah, that 'if its red you can kill it' atttitude reminds me of EVE. Complete and total disregard that someone else was flying that ship and by blowing it up for no good reason you've just ruined their fun.

It most definately is not gonna get a foot-hold on the server if I get anything to say about it. If I wanted to be surrounded by callous bastards I wouldn't be playing FL.
