I've been self-employed since the age of 16, flying many different ships as a freelance fighter, doing small scale escort missions for small traders all the while thinking what i wanted to do with my life.many years were spent as the captain of different ships, which I owned from exploits across the vast expanses of space. I was born and brought up on planet New London, but I haven't had a real home after I took over the family buisness when both my parents were slaughtered by members of Bowex in front of me.

Character Background: I was the son of a miner based on Holman Outpost in the Tau 31 system, there i had the opportunity to try a variety of careers and pilot a large variety of ships from large mining ships and transports down to the small fighter craft of the IMG security division. Life was steady for the majority of my life on Holman until the wars started, our station was taken over by Kusari for a time and mining operations within Tau 31 became strained due to trading embargoes within the system since neither side liked the idea of cargo from Holman going to the enemy.
It was at this point I decided i wanted to see the galaxy and remaining within the IMG meant I would not really get this opportunity so I left Holman and ventured in a Freighter craft and found my way into Bretonian space where I was rather unwelcome by the Bretonian mining and Manufacturing chaps who disliked the IMG and caused the war in the first place.
Upon arriving to New London i searched around and did some freelance contracts which allowed me to get by and save some credits. It was at the stock exchange I heard Bowex had made a partnership with the rival miners of the IMG. I thought to my self i could not turn my back on my past mining heritage so I did some digging and heard of a small trading company known as Gateway Shipping and it's ambitions to become the pride of Bretonia and its partnership with the IMG suited my past heritage.
I strongly believe that Bowex needs to be brought down a few pegs and put into place as well as assisting my fellow miners who remain in the IMG by taking trade from the BMM, my answer is to join Gateway as this will allow me to achieve these goals as well as allowing me to explore the vast systems of Sirius by fulfilling trading contracts that i sign.
What would Gateway gain by employing me: I have experience piloting large transport vessels from my time in the IMG so I do not require training. My contracts will be fulfilled on time and to a standard that will put Bretonia and Gateway at the full front of shipping in Sirius. I would have every intention to undermine Bowex where ever possible and if need be, destroy any Bowex vessel I catch my eye on outside of house space and ensure they know Gateway would be responsible to show them that gateway means business.

Steven Mitchell was born in the dusty and industrial skies of Planet Leeds.His parents then shifted to New London in hopes of finding a better future for him,away from the pollution that surrounds Leeds,till today.He was bought up rather modestly and was not a child who had all the riches.His father had to work in the Tax Department of Planet New London and was running his family with that income.
He graduated form the New London School of Economics and was scholarly well abled.Seeing his family suffer from poverty,he decide to take matters upon him and travel the wide reaches of Sirius in the hope of finding lucrative sponsorship deals,high profitable trade runs and so.Unlike his father who did nothing but survey the taxes in Planet New London.
Being the only child,his father did not want him to join the Armed Forces or any groups of such kind,fearing that he may lose his son forever.However,Mitchell had set his heart to help Bretonia against the invasion of the Gallics.When thinking of other ways rather than to fight to the enemy in the battlefield,he found news about the Gateway Recruitment.Wondering upon the chance,he realised that it could be the platform where both of his ambitions can come true.So,he applied for Gateway corp. and the rest is history.
