Doc felt her shivering as she kept close and that balled up fist on his chest. When her warm tears fell on her face, he knew then she felt regret. Oddly enough, he didn't. He just held her now weak body close, rubbing her shoulder.

"It's OK," he said softly, "I'm not sure why but I feel no shame. You are so......beautiful....so enticing.....so powerful. I just can't explain it."

He reached behind him, stretching a bit, to reach the tip of his robe and then dragged it over to him. He then draped it over and around her, the bottom of it touching the water while the rest stuck to her wet body.
"Here, Jaden," he said softly, "don't want you catching cold. I should bring you to your quarters since they aren't far from here and are close to mine."

Yes, the thoughts of Midori were in the back of his mind but he told himself, he will cross that bridge if and when he gets to it. For now, he just comforted Jaden, awaiting until she was ready to retire for the evening.

"P... Powerful?" Her shivering suddenly halted, while her sobbing also stopped as Doc flung the robe over her, but it wasn't the clothing that really helped to calm her. She had heard of many feedbacks in her life, but powerful? "You think of me as... powerful, Senor? I... Well, I..."

Another tear fell down the side of her human eye, but this...? This tear felt different, almost grateful and gentle in its aura. Her voice still came out shakey, but there was an air of warmth and serenity about it, like the words came directly from a lonely heart once starved of love, but was now overflowing with a joy unparalleled to anything, "... I've been called many things in life, Senor. Many of them unpleasant... An exile... A coward... A weakling... Just a pretty face to warm a man's bed with... I haven't been called that in a long while, Doc... To hear you call me something like powerful, it... it means a lot to me for you to say that, Senor... more than you know." He could feel her body quickly relax, the tension within her loosen, and the fist on his chest unfolding itself into brushing its soft palms onto his skin once again.

She sighed contently, her warm breath blowing smoothly over his neck. "I suppose... we should retire for the night. But..." She chuckled tiredly as she continued, "I'm ashamed to admit my ascension has drained me greatly, Doc. The night... the alcohol... your... ehr, your manhood... all of it felt so wonderful, Doc... So perfect. Frankly, I don't think my body can get up and walk right now. Nor do I even feel inclined to. And why would I, anyway? I don't want this night to end so soon, Senor...

"If... if we can, I... I want us to... stay here a little longer, Doc... to lie here in the pool, and prolong this perfect moment for as long as eternity would allow..." With that, Doc could hear her breathing go slower and deeper as she closed her eyes and began to sleep soundly like a tucked-in child.

There she was, asleep on him. He just gave a light smile and a light chuckle. This wasn't the place to stay if she was to sleep. He was no slouch. Getting a good grip under her legs, he stood up and carefully walked out of the water, Jaden sleeping on him with his robe covering them. It wasn't far to her quarters but the distance wasn't the issue as much as someone seeing them would be and people would eventually get to wanting to be at the pool.
Carefully sitting in a chair, he grabbed his datapad and locked out the short hallway from the pool to where her quarters were and tucked the datapad into a pocket on his robes. Then, he carefully walked down the hallway to her room and entered the code to the door. Once inside, he laid her down on her bed covered her up but then he remembered, the rest of his cloths were poolside. Using his robe, he returned to get them and returned to Jaden's quarters, unlocking the pool area and the hallway. For all intensive purposes, all seemed normal to anyone else. He then secured the door.

A thought crossed his mind in the room as he returned to her bedside to tuck in the sleeping Jaden. She was beautiful, her body inviting. Should he stay? Should he go to his own area? If anyone wanted him, they usually called him via his datapad anyway. With that thought, he quietly and carefully slipped into her bed with her, making it as if he had never left her side. She was warm and it was comforting. Doc would fall asleep himself several minutes later.

Jaden opened her eyes to the warm, pleasant feeling of Doc still wrapped around her. Smiling gently to herself, a frown quickly formed on her face when she realized they were now lying on a bed, instead of the pool. On top of that, she had a splitting headache and her belly groaned in despair from the Grog that still lingered in her system. But at least the rest of her body felt heavenly from what had transpired last ni-

... Wait. From what transpired last night? Oh... Madre mia! Jaden mentally facepalmed herself red at remembering she had just shared steamy, loving sex in the pool with the illustrious Doc Holliday, leader of the TAZ, of all people! Despite the migraine in her head, her thought processes were as clear as ever, and they told her she had just soiled the matrimonial vows of a happy, married man with carnal sin, tempted a well-meaning doctor into break his unwritten vows of professionalism, and having tempted another innocent into the ways of the Black Grog. Wow, Jaden... How the hell did you get yourself into these things, she thought to herself.

On the other hand, she felt Doc suddenly shuffle underneath the covers, making her flinch still. As he settled down, he pulled her in closer to him and sighed contently as her body heat gave him comfort. Still sleeping soundly, his body gently spooning her naked and tiredly-satisfied body, and his arms still lovingly embracing her, another thought came to her mind that... maybe this wasn't so bad. After all, her body wasn't complaining from how well-pleasured it was, so she supposed it was a good thing. She just wished she remembered more of that night than the blur of naughtiness and alcohol that clouded her senses at the time. What a pity.

Still... How would she explain this to David? He was already showing signs of cracking. She thought she was on a roll this time, but a fiasco like this would only undermine what she's done with him so far. And it would certainly make that already-distrusting man further retreat into his cold shell. Seriously... Wow, Jaden. Everything was already going good for you, and now you just... Wow... Slow claps go to you, you little pita.

Actually, you know what? He doesn't need to know any of this, she figured. This was just another one of her moments of weakness, something that he of all people should've come to already accept from someone like her to occasionally suffer from. Anyway, this could just be a one-time fling, a total accident that wasn't meant to be, right?

... Right?

Jaden turned her head a bit to look behind her, and still saw Doc sleeping soundly there. Their talk last night... it transcended far beyond a simple medical and terraforming question. Indeed, she could still remember most of what happened that led them to this point, and it all made her feel sorry for him. A gentleman long distant from his home, wife and kids, a gentleman long fatigued by the stresses of his monumental work, a gentleman long tired and given little chance to be gentle. In turn, she shared her own painful tales of lost lovers and lost causes, a few of her present dilemmas, and the dilemmas that would siege her far into the distant future.

Both of them were paining. Both of them were tired. And both of them were very, very lonely. Or perhaps she was overthinking again. Feh, what a bother...

With that, she let out a deep sigh and leaned closer into Doc's warm embrace, reluctant to sour what was a perfectly-sweet morning any further. Closing her eyes, she waited patiently for Doc's turn to rise from his slumber, half-hoping he would have more wisdom to help her deal with her devils.

When Doc awoke, he found her sound asleep next to him. The alcohol from the night before had worn off but her sweet aroma hadn't nor had the memory of the night before. Realizing he needed to get ready for the day, he quietly got up, being careful not to disturb her and went to his own quarters. When he did leave, he left a security card on her nightstand for his quarters.

As he showered, he stood in the warm water getting refreshed. His conscience started in on him. Thoughts like "how could you" and "you cheater" stayed with him. He answered himself. Midori is far from here and she doesn't need to know. He did figure that one day it may haunt him but it wasn't on this day.

Showered, he stood in his large living area getting dressed for the day in his doctor's cloths with a casual robe over them. He then checked his messages for the day which included a new recruit to process and a scheduled meeting with a Gallic Royal general. First though, he had a patient to take care of and he was true to his word with his work.

Making a simple breakfast, he then retreated to play on the baby grand piano he kept. It was his leisure and it was no secret when he was playing.
Today, it was something to get him in a good mood.

"... Yawn... Buenos di... WHAT THE--" Jaden quickly sat up when she realized she had overnapped and let Doc slip away unnoticed! She must've been more tired than she first thought! ... He didn't even bother to plant a kiss on her cheek before leaving. Some gentleman he was... Oh well. No use brawling over spilled tequila, as her Papito once said. Better get ready for the day, then!

She winced from the numerous crumples she felt on the mattress as she crawled out of bed. Relieved to get out of that hell hole, she tip-toed to the bathroom and was happily surprised to find her clothes and other articles hanging conveniently nearby. But the smile quickly disappeared when she found the place with no bathtub, but a shower instead. Madre Mia, she was not going to enjoy this...

Several minutes of horrible hot-cold-and-creepy agony later, Jaden stepped out the shower cubicle all shivering and disgusted with herself. After wiping briskly all over her body with a soft towel to make sure no stray water drop lingered and itched her skin, she felt a little more adequate now (and a lot less muskier) as she put on her maroon bikini first, then her black flight suit. Looking around and finding no makeup set anywhere, she shrugged her shoulders and brushed her hair neat with her fingers. With one last look at the bathroom mirror, she smiled and said, "Alright, Jaden. Time for you to get fertile again... Pfff. Why do you make it sound so lewd, hermana?" She chuckled as she stepped out the bathroom.

Tidying up the bed, it was only then she noticed the security card placed beside on a table. Picking it up, she inspected it and found it was the card to Doc's apartment. Placing it in one of her flight suit's numerous pockets, after making the bed proper, she happily sighed and eagerly proceeded to Doc's room.

Heading down the hallway, Jaden saw a passing Klingon guard give her a very suspicious and menacing look. Taken aback, she glared angrily at the Klingon and even gave a short growl at him. She wasn't sure if that was the right thing to do, since the Klingon flinched in response and gave a hearty laugh before remarking, "Holliday has chosen well indeed, hahah!" And with that, he continued on his way.

What did he just...? Wait a minute. Turning around, Jaden took a good look at the Klingon again, and noticed he was actually one of the Sin's bouncers that fateful night. He must've noticed Doc and Jaden as they drunkenly headed to Shasta's swimming pool. Hopefully, he'll keep that information to himself. Maybe she'll talk to Doc about it later, Madre knows what'll happen if that rumor got around...

Reaching the apartment, she was about to knock on the metal door when her skin felt weird vibrations coming from the room through the thick hull panels. Placing her ear to the door, she could make out faint sounds of a piano being played. Not wishing to be rude at first, she gave a few taps on the metal door and waited for a few moments... No response. Figuring the piano was too loud to let her be heard, she took out the security card and helped herself through to his room.

Inside, her ears were met with the cheery tunes of piano music and Doc's joyfully-tapping feet. Tip-toeing to a nearby chair, Jaden softly sat down and listened as Doc happily played to himself, like not a care in the world mattered to him aside from the music and the mood. And the mood was quite contagious as her feet couldn't help but also tap in time to the beat.

When he finally finished, Jaden smiled as she gave a round of applause to the leader of the TAZ, "Bueno, Senor Holliday! I hope I haven't surprised you, but I didn't want to interrupt your wonderful performance. Wish I could play instruments like you did, but my condition always made the learning curve somewhat... unpleasant."

Doc's quarters were huge. His piano in one area, a com system, living and kitchen area all in one large room. A large portrait of Malaclypse was on the wall and various pictures were about the room. A set of French doors towards the back, although closed, went to a large bedroom.

Doc finished playing and leaning on his piano, turned and looked to her.
"Condition? With a little time and practice, you could do this. Perhaps I'll teach you sometime."
He then stood up and found himself face to face with Jaden. It wasn't by design but he was. He remembered the night before. He wasn't sure what she was feeling and he himself wanted to attend to her medical needs but he still......felt something.

"I have arranged breakfast for us," he stated as he put up a finger "but first, I need to draw some blood." He then smiled, "I promise I won't hurt you but it will give me a baseline on you. After that, we can eat and I'll used mealtime to go through the pain of questions."

He didn't know whether she wasn't moving because she couldn't or didn't want to and he himself had the same thought of himself. He placed his hands on her sides, looking at her as he spoke, "Sick bay is at the other end of Shasta, Senora. Shall I escort you?"

To say Jaden still remembered last night would've been a gross understatement...

When Doc stood before her with that same smile of his, her cheeks quickly flushed red as the memories of his soulful eyes piercing straight into her and his warm, toned chest that she loved to bask in came flooding through her head. She could still vividly imagine how closely they intertwined and shared each other's essences through those crystal-clear waters in the pool. When he then placed his hands on her hips, she could still vividly picture how his palms would tantalizingly flow throughout her body, tickling her with eagerness as his fingers gently caressed and pleasured her soft, sensitive skin. Her cheeks could feel the warm breath from his mouth that blew over her face, embracing it with misty heat the same way his lips once sealed into hers and how her tongue once melted and overflowed into his mouth. Though faint by then, she could still feel the shadow of his pride still lingering within her naughty valleys, its ghostly presence still pumping its valor and virility within her with loving fervency. Any moment now, her body internally begged Doc to quickly pull her soul into him, to rip her of her garments and bring upon her sweet transcendence from this mundane galaxy.

She had to bite down on her lips and paralyze herself on the spot just to keep her shivering tension in check. Calm the hell down, hermana, Jaden told herself. I know you're very lonely, but you mustn't devolve yourself to such primal savagery. He is your doctor, and a married man, for Madre's sakes! Besides, you've still got an ex-LSF agent to come back to and eat out! Get a grip!

After taking a few moments to puff a few deep breaths to herself, Jaden slowly relaxed, frowning as she said, "... Take my blood? While I'd love to say no to such, I guess it's something that can't be avoided... Sigh... Oh well."

She looked into Doc's eyes as she clasped her hands together over her breasts. When she looked over his shoulder and saw the piano behind him, a thought quickly came to her mind, something that she didn't want to pass up. "Senor... I may not know how to play instruments, but I do know how to sing, at least. Don't suppose, after you take a blood sample, but before we have our meals, we... ehm... can have a duet together? You, playing the piano, while I sing a song... Rarely do I get to sing with instrumental accompaniment from another person, so it's always a treat to know and have someone who can play.

"Don't suppose you know the song, 'As The Deer', Senor? I think it's a nice song for a piano-and-singing session, hm?"

Doc thought a moment. "As The Deer," he mumbled to himself as he began to shake his head, "I don't know it but I do have someone here on station who might be able to find the music. Wait a second."

He released Jaden to go to his comm, making a call to someone to find the sheet music for that. He then motioned to Jaden to come to him, "that'll take awhile. Let's get this blood work out of the way and get something to eat." Taking her arm, he escorted her to sick bay, giving a bit of a tour of Shasta along the way. He treated her like a dignitary so as not to raise suspicion but as he did, he enjoyed her company.

In sick bay, he had Jaden sit in a seat where he would draw some blood from her. Once done, she stood back up where an assistant took the vials of blood to be checked and processed. Doc then escorted Jaden to a small cafe where they would sit down for breakfast. On this morning it was small talk over coffee and all things breakfast.

Jaden never really thought about exploring the Skyhook on her own: while she did study the layout of the station in case emergencies pop up, she practically stayed either in the Hangar to refit her ship for the next flight, or resigned herself to Sin's After Hours to relax and wind down by herself. A big reason why she didn't even know about the pool, she hated to admit. So when Doc hooked an arm around hers and became Shasta's unofficial tour-guide as they headed to the Sick Bay, she couldn't help but get a little excited at the prospect of knowing what the station had in store for a prospective Corsair vacationer such as herself.

While they more or less went in a straight line towards the other side of the station, there was still much to see. The most notable area they passed through was this great biodome which connected the three “arms” of Shasta together. Doc went through adequate length over the various species of flora and fauna the TAZ raise here for both agriculture and entertainment purposes, their information both extensive and fascinating. Jaden was content with just observing with intrigue the refreshing surroundings as the biodome tenders went on with their work, but it was sweet of Doc to really put in the energy to make the trip all the more worthwhile.

Continuing through the station's numerous hallways and corridors, she got to observe the various inhabitants both temporary and permanently residing here going to-and-fro around. But while most of them went about their day-to-day businesses as usual, there was the occasional person or guard who would bat a long, strange look at the two. The fact Jaden was quite attractive only made the stares all the more suspicious as she walked side-by-side with the leader of the TAZ. Of course this obviously made her feel uneasy, but Doc had his ways as he brushed aside the looks and treated her with great respect and reverence, befitting a visiting dignitary. It was comforting to know she could rest easy, knowing Doc had her back the whole way.

... even if the suspicions were somewhat true.

The moment they entered to the Sick Bay was when the color from her face really left her. But as Jaden sat on a comfy chair with her human arm exposed, Doc smiled and sprayed something strange over a small part of the pit of her elbow, reassuring her it was a special liquid he bought from Cryer that served as both a disinfectant and a powerful anesthesia, so she needed not worry about her condition. Indeed, the affected area felt cold and numb moments later, so the drawing went surprisingly painlessly. Jaden was so impressed with the results that she considered having Doc Holliday, or any of his trusted subordinates, as her personal doctor. He replied with an understandable "I'll think about it" as he handed away the samples to be tested, before gently taking her with him out the Bay.

Several minutes later, they arrived at a nearby cafe. Finding the table reserved in advance for them, the two sat down and were almost immediately served breakfast. For Jaden, she had before her a large helping of Empirio-style cuisine, secretly guesstimated by the cooks to have all the necessary nutrients according to Jaden's supposed needs.

After a short prayer to the loving Madre, she happily and calmly dug her way through the food and spoke to Doc in-between mouthfuls, "So about my medical records, Senor... I'm already downloading them in my datapad for you to browse over. Shouldn't be long now. I have to say, Senor... You indeed have quite the resources to help someone like me, compared to even the poshest hospitals I've visited in House Space. Shouldn't be too surprised though, what with you being the leader of the TAZ and all. I'm glad I was lucky enough to find you while you weren't too busy.

"... Still, it's my fault for not having made the proper formal arrangements with you. I'm sorry I bothered you with my problems on such short notice, Senor Holliday..."

She frowned for a moment, but a thought quickly came to her and made her continue, "Oh... Don't suppose your contacts have now found out if it's possible to have Planet Crete be re-terraformed?"
