Doc gave a soft chuckle at her joke. "Yes you could, I suppose." His smile softened to a face of concern, "but if that's the life you wanted, you wouldn't have come to me. Yes, I do have an option. I have two but only one give you control of your reproductive future and thats an ovarian transplant."

He helped her sit up a bit to explain to her, "quite simply, I would implant two donated ovaries. It's relatively simple to do and takes but a couple of hours. I would follow it up with a very light dose of fertility medication to get your system started. If things go right, I'm guessing within thirty days, maybe sixty, depending on how long it takes your body to start cycling again, we'll know if it worked. I really don't see why it wouldn't. You could then conceive like any other female and as often as you would want."

He then handed her a tissue for her eyes, "the only thing I need to do now is find the organs. Most I can keep in short storage but eggs are dependent upon blood flow so basically, a woman who is freshly deceased will need to be found and with the constant fighting going on, assassinations a plenty and such, it won't take long."

He then looked at her, "How would you like to transfer to [i]Med Force One[/] in Omega 49? I ask this because human organs are closer to the source and more frequent than they are here? Unless, of course, some poor girl more locally dies."

He then got on his com badge and began chatting with a fellow doctor. He instructed him that the instant donor healthy ovaries were available to call him. He looked over to Jaden with a wink and said, "I have a patient in need."

He then took a seat next to her and softly smiled again, "I'm betting we get good news fairly quick."

"Ovary transplant...?"

Jaden nodded her head as she thought about the option. Practically, an ovarian transplant would allow her to conceive like any other woman, complete with the menstrual cycles and the ability to get pregnant normally. But technically, the eggs that would come with the transplant wouldn't be her essence. It wouldn't be her heritage that she would be passing on for the next generation, but of the donor's virility. For all intents and purposes, an ovarian transplant would be an elegant and more humane way of artificial insemination.

"Senor Holliday..." She took the tissue Doc offered, and put it on her eye as more tears poured out as she said, "I... I appreciate the option, but... an ovarian transplant would only mean I would be bearing the donor's children, not mine. I mean..."

Jaden sighed as the words she intended to say didn't seem to form at the tip of her tongue. Statements of not her eggs and being a vessel than the potter came to mind, but none of them molded into coherent sentences in her mind. Clenching on the tissue with frustration, she paused for several moments, frowning to herself. "... I don't expect you to understand, but... Sigh...

"... I suppose... I'll need some time to think about it, Senor. Maybe give me a day or two. Maybe I might as well come along to the Med Force One to think. After all, I've never been to the fabled hospital ship, and I'm quite interested to see what it's like up-close. I've heard many rumors of the ship's importance in saving lives through some of the bloodiest conflicts in the edgeworlds. Would be nice to have my spirit filled with a little more hope from that ship's good deeds."

She paused again, her eyes suddenly flinching open when she noticed she was still naked on the bed. "Ah... I, ehr... So... uhhh... Don't suppose... I can wear my clothes now, Senor?"

Then she hesitated again, her eyes suddenly looking slyly at Doc as she said with a foxy smile, "... Or would you like me to keep them off a little longer, Senor? Eheheheh, I don't mind... especially if my audience was a fine gentleman such as yourself... Doc." She nibbled on her thumbnail, teasing Doc with her eyes as she let the tissue slowly flow down her neck, then through her enticing cleavage, and down onto her soft abdomen as she breathed loudly from the almost-sandpaper-like feeling.

Grog was no longer in his system nor hers for that matter. She knew what she was doing and he made no effort to hide the fact that he was scanning her body as the tissue fell. He took a seat next to her where she lay to further explain a transplant. He turned towards her, placing his open hand on her leg. Yes, her skin tone was perfect and her curves were to envy. Try as he might to be her doctor, her essence began to overtake him.

"Donor's children? Not totally. True they would be the eggs of someone else but your own DNA would have much to do with conception," he began, "but if.....you......need.......some.....time....."
He was getting that feeling in his chest again, the one that she was tugging at his heart and he found himself getting closer but as he did, he put a hand on her shoulder. Still closer to her, he spoke quietly, "Not here. I cannot secure this place like I could the pool or even my office. Too many would notice and well, tell stories."

As he pulled back, the door chime went off followed by a voice over the door com, "Doc, if you have a minute, I need a word with you about the organs you seek," said the voice.
"I'll be right there," Doc shouted before turning back to Jaden and sitting back down, "Dahlin'," he said with his heavy old world southern accent, "I need to take care of this. I'll be back in a few minutes."
He turned to get up but her aura overtook him. He leaned over and kissed her. Not passionately but quick. "How can you not kiss something that beautiful a voice asked him.
With that, he stood up and left to meet with the calling doctor.

Jaden wanted to quickly hold his wrist and stop him for a moment. She wanted to whisper how sorry she was for the way she acted back there, seeing as how hard it could get for Doc to keep up his professionalism around her at this rate, especially when he'd one day operate on her with other doctors. She wanted to apologize for being so callous around a married man like Doc, for being so inconsiderate about his marriage. But before she could hold onto him, he managed to get away and walk to the door and leave her for the moment.

Feelings of guilt and shame slowly flowed through her, making her clench a fist in anger towards herself for not being quick enough, but after a moment of thought she figured perhaps she could say what she wanted to on a better... and more proper place and time. For now, there was little else left to do but wait for him to return. He didn't say she could go right now, and she thought there might be other stuff Doc still had to do on the scanner, so Jaden lied back down on the cool cushions and relaxed.

A sudden naughty thought raced through the back of Jaden's mind, making her look around with a trickle of sweat. No video recorders around the room, surprisingly. Or perhaps they were well-hidden and behind one-way panels. If there were any, hopefully they'd be turned off, especially for what she was going to do next.

She shifted her right hand down to her navel and let her fingers fall gracefully over her prime. Even now, the spirit of Doc's pride and joy still lingered within her hips, and Jaden couldn't help but feel anxious from the longing for the spirit to manifest itself in her again. She curled up a few fingers, then let the rest slowly glide themselves softly through her secret valleys. She quietly gasped with each pass as her fingers did their best to rekindle the warm memories of last night. As she did this, her gaze was ever fixed towards the door, always on the lookout for Doc's return, especially if he'd have a coworker in tow. The last thing she needed was to have a couple of doctors witnessing their patient deeply pleasuring herself on one of their precious equipment. That would be most embarrassing.

After several minutes, the door slid open and Doc walked through. He noticed her sit up rather quickly. While he suspected what she might be hiding, he said nothing. He had news that she would indeed be more interested in. He walked over to the side of the bed and took a seat.
"I didn't figure it would take long for those organs to become available. I have word that in Omega 49 that ovaries are available. Apparently, an independent bounty hunter lost her fight with some Corsairs." Doc sighed, "It's up to you, Jaden. If you want to go through with it, I'll arrange transport for us."

He knew of her uncertainty so he did his best to convince her. "Jaden, while the eggs come from someone else, your blood, you genetics will be involved." After a short pause, he added, "And you could potentially have children for a body that can no longer carry them. It's up to you now."

[A.D.M.I.N. Censored]! She was halfway through the experience when Doc finally came back...! Hopefully, Doc wouldn't notice her slightly-steaming face and her valleys already flowing pristine brooks down her luscious line and onto the mattress as she smiled and crossed her legs together to try and hide the act. Still, she couldn't help but shiver a bit at how rudely interrupted her body felt.

Her smile didn't last long however, when she heard that a donor had already been found: a bounty hunter in Omicron 49. This did not bode well for her at all: it all felt too sudden, too quick for her taste, like the universe was forcing its own opinions on how she ought to run her life. "Senor, I... It's not...

"... Senor,"
She looked at Doc with pained eyes as she whimpered, "I don't think you still get what my problemo truly means... Sigh... Haven't you figured out the connection of my sterility to my dream of one day making Planet Crete becoming more habitable yet? My problemo of being unable to conceive runs deeper than just the capability of doing so."

Her eyes once again formed tears within, but she managed to hold them back from bursting as she hurtfully continued, "Every Corsario must take the Rite to be marked as citizens. Those that live through it and have children means their bodies are fit enough to continue the legacy of the Empirio, to add in their genes to the Corsario gene pool.

"But those that can't bear children... means their genes have been deemed rejects by fate. It means they've failed to be born strong. It means I've failed to be born strong, Senor. It's one thing to have failed due to effort, but to be born... a failure...?"

A hand clenched itself again from the pain she would say next, "Doc... what I mean to say is, should I take the ovarian transplant, I fear my children would not have the genes necessary to be strong enough to survive the dangers of the Rite. And if they're not strong enough for the Rite, that also means they're not worthy enough to be called Corsario... and I don't think my poor, motherly heart could ever take such pain and humiliation. That's why I need the eggs to be mine, instead of someone else's, because only a true Corsario could brave that brutal initiation alive.

"... And that's also why I need Crete to be re-terraformed, because it's a good representation of my current situation. A task so grande and loco that, should it come to fruitation, it would rock the very foundations of my people's heritage and culture. By now, my people have had the ability to leave that wasteland behind for an exodus to someplace better, but that would mean we would be running away from what has made the Corsario strong in the first place."

She paused for several moments, to let Doc take in all that she's said so far. She looked down at the floor, wiping the tears from her eyes with her hands when she finally continued, "I hope you now understand why your offer seems so very hard for me. You could say that, should I take this particular surgery, I would have to give up my ties as a Corsario-birthright, for the sake of my children's future." She then lifted her head back to Doc, her gaze apparently praying for his sound advice, "But I don't want to, Senor Holliday. I feel I owe my birth and entire existence to the Corsario, despite all the nasty things they've done to me. I don't expect you to understand why, but..."

A sigh slowly came out of her mouth as she turned away. Rubbing her arms like a cold crept up her body, she said, "... As... as I said, I'll need time to consider it. I can come with you on the transport to Omicron 49, but that doesn't guarantee I'll have reached a decision by the time I see my donor."

Doc listened intently as she spoke. He only partly understood. He wanted to rebuke her with the true tails of what extreme radiation does to most. He understood this "rite" about as much as he understood the "test of loyalty" by the Outcasts with cardamine. He didn't like it. He felt it infringed upon their very rights. He sat turned to her as he spoke into his com link, "Fritz, never mind the transplant....for now. Perhaps another time."

He then nodded his head a little, "I think I somewhat understand even if I don't agree with sending people on survive or die tests of adulthoods with those surviving living with permanent scars from it." He paused a moment, trying to choose his words carefully, "you came to me for help and I intend to. Your body, your genes, they are as good as any other Corsair, even better because unlike so many I've dealt with, your sense of humanity is better than most I've encountered so please, stop seeing yourself as unworthy because you very much are."

Doc then stood up, "Many organs don't survive extreme radiation for long periods. It has nothing to do with bad genetics or a weak body. I'm betting a lot of Corsair men are quite sterile too. If it matters, I get a good many deceased Corsairs in Omega 49 as well. As callous as this may sound, I could easily remove the ovaries from a Corsair female that are still productive and transplant them and only you and I would know of it."

Doc then realized he was probably walking where he shouldn't and lecturing her. He let his own dislike step on her upbringing. He had his back to her as he collected himself, "I'll arrange the transport to 49. It'll give you some time to think and well.......myself as well."
He then turned to her, prepared for her stern response that he half expected.

To Doc's surprise, Jaden just sat there, her pristine body still shivering slightly from the interruption as her head lowered shamefully to the ground while her two hands gripped the edges of the mattress. She didn't cry, nor sob, nor did her nostrils flare in anger, but a sigh did flow from her as she breathed out somewhat calmly, "... As Corsario... normally I'd be rebuking you with utmost righteousness. No sooner you'd find yourself kissing the floor, with a red mark shaped like a hand on your cheek for saying such things... But...

"... But as much as I'd like to, I hate to admit the small part of me that kinda... agrees with you, Doc."
Her fists gripped tighter on the sheets as she continued, "Since my exile, I've begun to doubt many of my people's ways and what-not, for one reason for another. I've doubted... the practicality of our Rite... the brutality of our diplomacy... the desire to purge all so-called inferiority from our genes through natural selection, and many other things."

She took the time to pause and sigh again before continuing, "You... say I have good genes, Senor? I'd beg to differ... Genes don't inherently make intentions, personalities or humanity, unless you're talking on a neurological level. Experiences do. Choices through life, and their consequences do. While genes do pose as a variable for how those experiences are interpreted to a degree, ultimately its our upbringing that determines our character.

"... And you say I have a greater sense of humanity compared to other Corsario you've met, Doc? Funny you should say that, actually... My so-called better sense of humanity makes me a bad person through the Empirio's eyes, bordering that of a certified gringo's thoughts. It was forged from being a coward in the line of duty within the Empirio, from being shunned, ridiculed and exiled by my people for that fact, from the many loved ones I've lost, and from the many other misfortunes that befell on me throughout the years. Most days I wonder what could've been, had I chosen not to be a coward that fateful day... had I been a pure-good and honorable soldato at the time... I'd probably not be drawing breath this day... Or maybe I'd be commanding an Imperator by now... or be the head of a great fleet of Artifact smugglers who run through New York daily... And I'd also wonder if I'd even have these thoughts and doubts, had everything fallen into place for me... Perhaps not..."

A long, loud sigh flowed itself through her breath as she took a long moment to pause for several seconds. Then she slowly raised her head up to Doc, her eyes evidently weary and distraught from the inner turmoil that stirred within her heart as she said, "Maybe my sense of humanity is just my psyche's unwillingness to comprehend the great shame and humiliation within me from failing to be a proper citizen and representative of the Empirio. Or maybe fate really has bestowed on me a different path to tread that would benefit the Empirio one day... Either way, gracias for complementing me on my personality, but... unless I at least find something noble and good to fulfill that would equal my great dishonor with the Empirio, I'll always see myself as being unworthy for anything... or for anyone... especially for..."

She suddenly looked away, reluctant to say her next words, "... especially for... someone as noble and good as... as y-you... S-Senor. So..." A quick sigh before she slowly got up to pick up her clothes. With her back turned to Doc, Jaden whispered half to herself, "... Some time to think... time to consider the surgery... would be nice."

Doc could only stand where he was, facing her with his hands behind his back. He somewhat understood what she had stated even if he still disagreed with the "rite." For the moment, he wasn't sure on how to respond. He just watched her for a moment.

"I half expected to be slapped," he responded, "but you see my point. Hopefully in time, I can help you restore that lost honor. Maybe I can..." He shrugged.."Maybe I can't but we shall see. I just think that your desire to help your people even after exile shows you to have more humanity than you give yourself credit for."

He again took a seat by her, "For now, you came to me for help in reproduction. I can help that, have what's needed to do so and am willing but.....if it's time you need then I will grant that." He sighed, "I'll leave it to you like this, no one and I do mean no one has the right to deny you being a mother."
He again stood up, "I need to arrange a shuttle to Canaria." After a few steps to the door, he stopped. Noble he thought to himself. He just looked forward, "You say I'm noble. How noble am I really, at least, to a Corsario, when I declined an invite to join the Corsair empire from Elder Miguel Sephardi of the Corsair Brotherhood many years back. In that "rite" I would have had to endure, I probably wouldn't be standing here right now. Think about that."
He then continued to the door as he answered the door chime. Jaden would only be able to here muffles at best if she tried to listen.

Picking up the garments from the ground, Jaden slowly contemplated on what Doc said... and meant. For him not to take the Rite, when he was even offered to do so by an elder, of all people(!), that did make her feel disappointed. But, to a degree, she understood why he chose not to. Had he taken the Rite, he'd have to leave his old life behind, to submit himself to the Empirio, and to the possibility he may never have any children, if he survived. If there was anyone who had much reason not to take the Rite, it was Doc after all. He was leader to a Zoner tribe, the famed doctor of the cosmos, and had responsibilities to his wife, among other things.

So, in a way, his choice not to take the Rite was actually pretty noble of him. It must've taken a lot of guts for a gringo like him to deny such an offer to Elder Sephardi's face! And that commanded a lot of respect.

... On the other hand, Doc did yield to his carnal urges last night and unwittingly broke his marital vows. Now that was something quite ignoble, making Jaden sigh distraught as she slowly slipped herself into her undergarments... But not before taking a special handkerchief from one of her flight suit's pockets, and wiped the waters which lingered between her legs and valleys.

But as the cloth slowly weaved itself through her tender, sensitive nethers, ironically enough the more she rubbed her valleys dry, the more she found herself brushing harder and harder on her unmentionables, finding great enjoyment in the touch. Soon, she discarded the cloth to the side, and began nubbing at her tender valleys with renewed vigor. Much to her embarrassed disbelief, she eventually found herself exploring and trying to rekindle the memories of last night again.

Panting in both shock and delight, she doubled backwards slowly until she stumbled back onto the scanner bed. She cursed herself for being so sexually depraved at a time like this, but a quick pulse of pleasure from her body silenced her thoughts quickly. Arching herself back onto the mattress, her lust-clouded mind desperately sought to grant her the release she was so denied from when Doc had interrupted her several minutes ago. Her valleys sprung forth springs from deep within, the clear ambrosia making the hand that tickled into her slosh audibly into the quiet room. Jaden approached, and was bearing close to tipping, her attention now tunnel-focused into reaching her peak, that any sudden barge-ins by second parties would be met with delayed reflexes. Hopefully, luck would be kind and let her have her release long before Doc comes back.
