I still hold by the idea that there needs to be fewer systems to raise encounter probability.

In the Omicrons you can camp the gates if you see someone around, you miss encounters only if you don't want to be found.

Edit:
Actually, v4 is almost fine by me.
What it lacks is Alpha-Tau-37 connection and a short Alpha-Gamma route through Theta.

I suppose, Omega-9 existence will be considered later?

I vote for Omega systems layout re-work thread. Those messy changes needs addressing as well.

The current work is good, at least it's good to finally know that someone care about community's opinion on things and we don't have stuff just being thrown at our surprised faces another day. My eyes were bleeding when I first encountered the changes to Omega 41, Omega 5 other systems around. No wonders it's dead space and empty vacuum player activity vise.

P.S. When people are not asked for their opinion they start to vote with denial of use of things they don't like. So, it's logically to assume that if something is underused it might be broken somehow. Like all the small factions, certain parts of the space, etc.

what is a purpose of Omega 41 -> Omicron 94 jh?
7 jh in such small system like Omega 41 is a little to much.
Maybe better to link Omicron 94 and Theta or Kappa, depends what you want to achieve.
And if it has to be jh to Omega 41 let it be far from Thira and guarded.
In lore : "Thira is intended to act as the last place of refuge if Gamma is ever overthrown."

One suggestion: how about retaining 92-Minor to keep a Kusari-Eastern Omicrons route that isn't so "Order-heavy", and simply scrapping 100? 100 seems like a rather pointless system to me .

dude, 100, is a guard system for us. if everybody thought like you:

no hiroshima
no ellesmere
no bremen

simply put, 100 has a very important purpose

Sounds good to me. Let's remove guard systems and merge their bases into other ones.

Bremen is no guard system. It merely has a RM military research station in it (that because of its military-grade research has guard rep). Other than that, there's nothing guard-like in there. Although I think getting rid of New Hampshire would be far more effective, closing in the distance travelled between Rheinland and Liberty. Afaik its only purpose is being a battleground that is in reality barely used at all. It is almost exclusively used to get to Hamburg / Texas through alternative routes.

Could something possibly be done with Omega 41 to make it less of a pain in the rear for large ships to get through?

Keep those asteroid fields the way they are. Entering an asteroid field with a battleship or anything else that's large should stay dangerous as it is. It also acts as a natural defense against larger ships since they have a hard time maneuvering. It adds a lot to strategy and should be kept the way it is.
