RepEx Needs New Leadership

It appears as if P Funk has his hands full, of what Im not saying ;)

Anyway, as I have said earlier, I do not wish to lead a faction as an Admin. Not saying Admins shouldn't have the right to do so, I just personally want to avoid it. That being said, I think RepEx has built its place here and I would hate to see it go away, so I need someone to take over for me.

Wanna first offer it up to current members of course. Any of you want to try your hand at faction leadership? Just PM me or reply here and we can talk about it. Otherwise, we'll have to see what happens.

However, if P Funk ever does reply that he does want it, it is his, he has been there from the start and has done just as much work as I have to build it.

you are a good leader and if people can not accept your an Admin who runs a faction, so what!!!!!!

Keep doing what you do, Repex = AC_Merc.

they will learn that you being an Admin that you have high Standards and they all should follow the rules.

Dont leave a Faction that has its name because of you..

Well, I do understand why you do not want to remain as faction leader, but I believe that the comunity here would not have any problem with you staying with your faction. All work and no play.... You know the rest..

I think you should still lead it, Tony had NPG, Jes has IND, Korrd had AW, Kane has the phantoms, and Caylith has the Angels. AC with RepEx works too.

But seriously, I think you're taking the Administrator business too far. Why? Because, as the leader of a trading faction, who will make a profit unless, by some act of God all ships with more than 500 cargo space without a Cruiser-and-up shield are taken out of the mod you will make a profit. There's not a lot to be biased about, unlike people who run military factions (I spend most of my post-writing time covering my ass:$). You've nothing to worry about. A trading faction isn't something you can really get into like a shooting faction; there's not enough at stake to sway your judgment. Don't throw away RepEx; it most likely won't be a major influence.

This game is about having fun. Even Administrators need to have fun, too.

I see no problem with you continuing to lead it, or at least be a part of it
(why when you can create money?:wacko:)because no fun is no good.

But I also think that your decision to step down is a wise one. One of the complaints I hear most about admins is that they are biased toward "their" factions.

I would aply but my life is sort of on "suspended" mode right now and I don't know where I'll land. So...I'd probably turn into P Funk...gone. (no offense to him, he just isn't around)

Edit: to be clear, (cause the nerotic rambelings of someone at 4am aren't the most cohesive). I am not trying to force you out, but simply pointing out that I admire your decision to leave (if you do) so that you avoid those charges.
