PRIORITY:Medium ENCRYPTION:High IDENTIFICATION: Ralf Warren - CNN CEO / Lanzarote Base Administrator TARGET: Mr. James Church - Confederation of Freeports SUBJECT:NFZ Violation
Greetings, Mr. Church.
My name is Ralph Warren, CEO and founder of Canaria News Network - you should have heard of us - and also Lanzarote Base administrator as in accordance with OSI of course that is the base controller.
This month we already made two reports about the pirate activity in Omega 3, specially near the Freeport since it affects Zoners the most. [ Attachment: Report #1 | Report #2 ] So I am sending you some raw images, sir, so you can decide if that scum junker pirate Love.Joy that once even used a zoner IFF should be banned from all Freeports. I think he should.
This is Omicron Supply Industries Escort Fighter Midnight-3 Reporting.
There was an incident within the No Fire Zone of Freeport 1 involving a Hessian Cruiser, The imperator, and a Corsair flying a Gaien Gunboat, the El.Taco.
Due to a malfunction i wasnt able to get guncam shots, but i do have the communication logs between myself and the 2 ships involved.
After a threat of them loosing their docking rights, i managed to get them both to leave peacefully, although the El taco returned and showed little respect for Mr Church who appeared at the scene just after the 2 involved left.

Communication Logs: Log 1 Log 2 Log 3 Log 4

Thank you for the Report. I shall get right on that. I would also see about getting that Guncam Error fixed as soon as possible, could cause a problem in future.

Dear Mr. Church,
I want to report some capital class ships that were present in the NFZ. Which would violate law 5 ("No capital class vessel shall remain within the NFZ of any given Freeport unless assisting CoF personnel or the vessel in question is granted temporary permission by on-duty CoF personnel.") Yesterday, two BAF ships at different times entered the NFZ. First the BAF|A-HMS-Venerablecarrier entered the NFZ. The ship had four docking modules and one Mk III jump drive installed. He did not want to say why he was here:
Code:
[23.05.2014 19:21:39] Zuurkool: Sagara: A-HMS-Venerable, what brings you here?
[23.05.2014 19:21:52] BAF|A-HMS-Venerable: Daniel: But late in asking me, no?
[23.05.2014 19:22:07] BAF|A-HMS-Venerable: Daniel: I shall ask you the very same thing
[23.05.2014 19:22:28] Zuurkool: Sagara: You answer first
[23.05.2014 19:22:47] BAF|A-HMS-Venerable: Daniel: How about... No? Please, don't tell me what to do otherwise this isn't going to work
Shortly thereafter he left in the direction of Planet Sprague. A short time later he returned flying by at high speed and then jumped away using his Mk III jump drive while in the NFZ.
Some time later the Bretonia Destroyer HMS-Repulse entered the NFZ. According to the flight recorder, the ship either docked at the Freeport or nearby:
Code:
[23.05.2014 19:28:56] Traffic control alert: HMS-Repulse has requested to dock
Most of the crew were eating their lunch and only some of the rookies were monitoring the radar screens. Unfortunately, they could not tell me for sure whether the ship docked at the Freeport. The two ships merely seem to pass by so I did not explicitly ask them over the comms to leave the NFZ.
Today, a Corsair dreadnought called the Hispania entered the NFZ to assist a ship called the Suns|Duco.Ramirez (also a Corsair) who appeared to have gotten into an argument with a Zoner called Apokalypse about an incident near the Freeport that happened earlier.
I asked the dreadnought to leave, which the two Corsairs refused:
Code:
[24.05.2014 22:17:11] Zuurkool: Sagara: Hispania, no non-Zoner caps are allowed near the Freeport
[24.05.2014 22:17:26] Suns|Duco.Ramirez: Unfortunately you're wrong, carrier 'mano.
[24.05.2014 22:17:39] Suns|Duco.Ramirez: This ship is here for diplomacy reasons.
[24.05.2014 22:17:49] Suns|Duco.Ramirez: Hostile actions against pilots of the Cretian Empire.
[24.05.2014 22:17:58] Suns|Duco.Ramirez: It stays until the situation is dealt with.
[24.05.2014 22:18:03] Zuurkool: Sagara: Please move 10k away from the station
[24.05.2014 22:18:17] Suns|Duco.Ramirez: It -stays-.
[24.05.2014 22:18:40] Hispania: i will not fire, dont worry
[24.05.2014 22:18:54] Suns|Duco.Ramirez: Don't even bother arguing with this. Though this is considered a Zoner Facility, it's owners are the Omicron Supply Industries.
[24.05.2014 22:19:13] Apokalypse: // all the Sun| member are docking after pirating here in this system
[24.05.2014 22:19:13] Suns|Duco.Ramirez: And since you seem to enjoy threatening our lives so much, let me issue you a warning, gringos.
[24.05.2014 22:19:31] Apokalypse: // you're docking after shooting at a zoner - close to this zonerbase here
[24.05.2014 22:19:47] Zuurkool: Sagara: I suggest you and Apokalypse move 10k away in opposite directions
After the argument between the Corsair and the Zoner had ended, theydocked at the Freeport, even though I had asked the dreadnought to leave before. No shots were fired by any party during the argument.
Code:
[24.05.2014 22:41:35] Traffic control alert: Hispania has requested to dock
Apparently the Corsairs were not amused about what happened between them and Apokalypse.

Dear Mr. Church,
Another incident happened again within the NFZ of Freeport 1 yesterday. * Sagara sighs * This time much more serious than the two previous incidents: a Hessian Battleship called [RHB]goxy appeared to be targeting some small BHG ships less than2K from the station. Some of its pulses came very close to the station and station suffered some minor damage from the impact of some of the debris of one of the destroyed BHG ships.
It seemed that the ship had some problems with its radios, because I could hear nothing but static. But when I told it move away from the Freeport, it stopped firing. However, I became then very annoyed when it then actually came towards the station, forcing me to fire a warning shot in front of the ship. It then turned left and headed towards the jump lane that leads to the jump gate to the Cambridge system.
It also appeared to be in possession of some Nomad technology. I am not sure what it is, perhaps it is useful to inquire the Order about it.
For a while it looked like it had disappeared into the ice cloud, but some time later, it unexpectedly returned. Apparently the Hessian had fixed his radios by now and contacted me over a secure channel asking for permission to dock. It did not wait for a response though and immediately tried to dock:
Code:
[28.05.2014 22:35:53] [RHB]goxy: hi
[28.05.2014 22:35:59] [RHB]goxy: can i dock to freeport?
[28.05.2014 22:36:03] Traffic control alert: [RHB]goxy has requested to dock
Leaving me no time to switch to the correct frequency, I used my battleship turrets to reduce the shield of the vessel by 10 % to quickly persuade its commander to not try to perform a docking approach. The vessel quickly brought its shields back to 100 % and I let it leave the NFZ, heading towards Planet Sprague.
