Bonjour, my name is Antoine LaRoux, and I would greatly like to be considered to join the Phoenix faction. I was formerly a member of the Council, and I hail from Champagne. After several skirmishes with the GRN I left Gallia in search of a new beginning. I went to Roussillon to start anew. I created a base with some associates and life was grand. Little did I know that one day soon we would arrive to a single Outcast Battleship that would end the dreams of a peaceful beginning.
This prompted my own decision to leave the House systems and search the stars for a new beginning. I have seen many strange and wonderful things amongst the stars of deep space. I met strange and dangerous species, on my travels. I have come to realize that there are things that are worse than the imperialists and criminals here in the house systems. I am a peaceful man, and have learned that aggression leads to more aggression. I greatly hope that you consider my application, and I will be a valuable asset to your faction.
Bio: Well I've been a Privateer.. er Freelancer as far back as I can remember. I can remember being rescued from a wrecked slave ship by someone and dropped off at Freeport 9. The pilot of the slave liner must've been hitting the go juice pretty hard that day, he crashed into and wedged the ship between a couple very large asteroids. He then proceeded to eject leaving the survivors to die. We scraped by for around 3 weeks until our rescuer found us. I lived at FP9 and learned all I could about what makes a ship tick. I saved up the money I earned repairing ships and doing upgrades and retrofits, everybody loves those nomad guns, and when I was old enough, bought a junky little freighter, fixed it up and headed to the stars to make my fortune. I had picked up a few good routes and alot of information jawing with the people who frequented FP9. Well I might not have a fortune but I'm comfortable and have a good ship now. I have traded all over Sirius and know most all the systems like the back of my hand especially the border worlds. I like the nomadic life moving around from port to port to planet, selling this buying that, making a profit. I've know quite a few Zoners in my time especially at FP9. They taught me alot and were pretty much my family. I already feel like a Zoner so I suppose the next logical stop is to join a good faction, one that one day I can call my family too.
Why Phoenix: I get tired of the constant political instabilities and battles that I've witnessed in my years trading in Sirius. I usually keep to myself and I usually keep to the border worlds just to stay out of the mayhem that the houses call Society. I don't have near as many pirate attacks in the BW's and I know most of the people at the freeports especially the mechanics. I feel Phoenix is just the type of Society I've been looking for. Yes nomadic drifting is great, but as a human being I require interaction with other like minded individuals. I feel Phoenix is filled with those types of individuals.
Perhaps, you are right. I tried check the logs, but seem all recordings are deleted or lost with destruction of old Palace.
But I'm in good mood and willing to give you chance, while I had not so well cooperation with the group known "Zoner-", before ZA.
You will be accepted in rank of apprentice. You will learn how to behave as Phoenix, look on how we do, what we do. You decide as well, Phoenix suits for you, or not.

It's nice to know that you withdrawn from life full of violence and decided set your path to more peaceful course. While I value your honestly, I don't think OSI refused your request just because. I would like to hear more about your past. What you did, for what organization you worked. You said by yourself that your story is much more different compare to other Zoners, so please. Of course, I cannot just enter, I do understand that. So , here is my story.
I have , on multiple occasions, encountered people too involved in money. I was bred to the corporate lifestyle. You cant control it when instead of finding something useful, you head to the Agiera R&D labs to invent weapons. The mere thought that what you are messing with, may tomorrow take a life, just cracks your skull.
Thats what happened to me. My temper was uncontrollable. I found no peace until a few months ago, when, that blue jelly comfortably broke it. My earlier mental framework of mind created a mental block against the corrupt and bereaucratic law enforcement forces.
Thats when I chanced on the edge worlds. On a research trip. It was so tranquil, tha I resigned my Agiera job, collected my degree papers, and left, for what some call a radiation hellhole, others call freeport 5. I had sufficient fortunes, and moved up trading. After that.....well, you know what happened.
I wont argue with you about not letting me join your family. I know that I am headed for a qualified psychologist anyways, and I am accustomed to dissappointment.
Thanks for better detailing of your story, but it's now it's more questionable. A Nomad changed you? It's sounds like an attempt of infected fellow enter our family, which is no way to go. Our policy with Nomads would never go further than plasma fire.
Of course , I do understand your concern, Mr.Burton. but think about it. would an infected person try to supply the Order in his transport?
Would he offer help to those people in distress?
If you still dont trust me, I suggest you let somebody who can really find out whether I am infested by those...things. and If you Still dont trust me, I can understand that I might cause your family harm. I would rather roam around alone in the omicrons than branded as a thrall of those....things.
