Freeport 10's "Sylvania Dome"

"Water? Sure...we have soda too, by the way. As well as some non-alcoholic cocktails."

He leaned forwards, reached for a menu card and skimmed through it. After reaching the correct page, Sean placed the card on the table and turned it around so Ivy could read it.

"Mhm...yeah, I guess there's not much to do here for a girl of your age. However, if you wanted to, you could work as waitress here.", he thought aloud.
"That would at least prevent that you die by boredom", he then added jokingly.

The girl sounded quite surprised by the offer extended to her, glancing up at him with a small smile. "Thank you, I really, really appreciate the offer, but.. I dunno if i'd do something like that too well, I really don't like people too much." As she speaks, reaching back up to her neck to fiddle with the small chain. "I wouldn't really be the most.. welcoming person.. I dunno why i'm able to talk to you like this, maybe it was because Tara assured me you're a good person at heart, although it took her a little bit to actually say that."

Looking around the bar. "Although it is pretty quiet.. is that normal?

"Well, I bet you'd still do better than that guy", Sean presumed and pointed to Reece, who was visibly challenged.

He made a little pause, then shrugged and said with in a calm tone: "In case you change your mind, don't hesitate to tell me."

Suddenly he stood up and rose his finger. "Hang on, I'll be right back."

Sean walked towards the bar in a brisk step and grabbed a bottle of water and a glass, before returning to Ivy. He placed both on the table, filled the glass with water and sat down on his chair.

"So Tara said I'm a good guy, huh? And what do you think? Do you agree with her?", he asked while his lips shaped a little smile.

She says her thanks as the glass of water is placed in front of her, reaching over to the side of the table, and grabs a packet of sugar usually used in coffee. Tearing the end of, she empties the contents into her glass, a nd swirls around the contents to let it all dissolve in the glass.

"I believe you're nice.. I can agree with her, she never openly admits she likes someone. At least not in quite a long time, I trust her enough.. That, and you yourself have already given me a free glass of water, and offered a job. The other guy I met shortly.. Robert was it? He seemed like he was talking too much and ignored me for the first part. So far, you're the only other I know.. Besides Jack, although I don't like Jack.. You would not believe the trouble he puts Tara through.. He isn't mean to me directly, but he gives me looks that I don't like. I.. plan to stay anyway from him for the most part while i'm around.."

Obvioulsy enjoying talking. Almost as if she didn't get to, very often while she did not stay on the Frepeport earlier.

While Sean carefully eyed Ivy's unusual move, he continued with their conversation.

"I suppose you could say that one can't read her like an open book. And about Robert...well, he's always very...talkative."

Sean placed his hands on the table, his left hand resting on his right wrist. Then he narrowed his eyes.

"Say, what kind of trouble is Jack putting Tara through? Do they know each other well?"

Ivy winces slightly, seeming to not really like the subject of Jack too much. Taking a sip of the water, only to look at it for a second and shortly after dumps a second pack into it.

"Jack is.. Someone who holds leverage on her, and isn't afraid to use it to his own advantage.. I really don't want to talk about the details, I don't like to think about it too much."

Fiddling with the chain around her neck yet again, seeming like a bad habit my the constancy of the action. Mumbling something beneath her breath, she speaks up quietly once more. "Tara is.. not that hard to read.. Despite trying to cover it up so much.. She's always lonely, but refuses to open up to anyone. I guess i'm one of the few, although there was one other person who she loves to be around as well. Although she's down in Liberty, despite being a Kusarian herself."

Shrugging. "I haven't seen her in a while though, I guess work keeps everyone busy.. Speaking of being busy, I really won't be now that I think about it. It's great and all that i'm around, anything rather than looking out the window at sights and crea-.. other things. It's a nice change.."

Considering something for a moment, glancing up. "What's working here like.. I don't want any credits, Tara's given me more than I need over the past few years. Is it worth it?"

A few sudden thoughts jolt her awake again. Afterwards letting out a repressed sigh.

"I'd be an insomniac at this point.. probably." Shrugging the thought away. Looking upwards and seeing a branch of the tree sticking out fairly close, she decides to try an idea.

She stands up and jumps and attempts to grab it. Barely reaching it but eventually climbing on it.

"I wonder.. when was the last time I did this..? Guess I still haven't lose my touch." Amused by her own remark.

She takes one last glance around the dome, mumbling something to herself, and trying to sleep again. Hoping this time that she won't be awakened by other.. "thoughts".

"Hmm...so he is blackmailing her..."

Sean placed the thumb of his right hand on his cheek and brooded about the topic.

"I wonder if--", he said and suddenly stopped, held on for a second and decided to not speak out the thought.

"What's working here like.. I don't want any credits, Tara's given me more than I need over the past few years. Is it worth it?"

Sean had to smirk about her question, then a broad grin spread across his face, appalling similiar to the one Robert made once in a while.

"It's..lucrative, to say the least.", he stated and dwelled in his thoughts for a moment.

First he ignored Ivy's fiddling with the chain but somehow it made him nervous to a certain degree.

"A nice chain you got there. Did you get that from your sister?"

Ivy gives Sean a confused look when he doesn't finish his sentence, but doesn't seem too bothered by it.

"Lud.. er lud.." Having slight difficulty on his choice of words, obviously not knowing the English Vocabulary as well as her older counterpart. "I'm just going to assume you mean it's interesting.. I guess now that i'm thinking about it, I might give it a try, I mean.. I would be able to meet other people, hm? That'd always be something i'd be interested in doing."

Jumping slightly, retracting her hand from the chain. "I'm sorry, it's a reaaly bad habit, it just.. means a lot. Izzy gave it to me, not Tara. Ever since I started wearing it, i've felt.. calmer I guess is a good way to put it, it makes me feel safe.. I'm sorry, I have a feeling I look like an idiot right now, just what I didn't want to happen."

"Don't worry, you don't look like an idiot. He does", he replied and pointed towards Reece again, whose cocktail-mixing attempts resulted in even more broken bottles.

Sean watched the young man for a while, before facing Ivy again.

"So, Izzy, huh? Who's that then? The kusarian you just mentioned?"
