So the problem is: every time I try to log in on any on my accounts everything seems to be fine, until I select a character.
When I try to get into the game, for a split second I see the planet/station my ship's at and then poof - "you have been disconnected from the server. Please try again later".
After a few attempts I get autobanned for too many disconnections.
Everything on my side is running smoothly, although I had to manually update to upd 5. I'm running on win 8.1 with the avast free antivirus. The glitch occurs regardless of the shields turned on or off, even turning off all the smartscreen options and running FL in compatibility with win7, win Vista or xp doesn't help.

PSA: If you have been having stutter/FPS lag on Disco where it does not run as smoothly as other games, please look at the fix here: https://discoverygc.com/forums/showthrea...pid2306502

Sindroms, that's not it. I checked and all the dlls are in perfect order. The fonts are ok, widescreen works. Avast says everything's fine. Also, both Disco and vanilla FL are working fine in SP.

It is entirely possible that the problems originate server side.
I got same problem, when I choose character, for a second I see the station and then "You have been disconnected from the server. Please try again later". First my thought was that maybe that character/account was banned, but I tryed other account and got same message.
This problem starts after I automatically install upd 5 about a week ago (after update I started FL and got this problem).
Before upd 5 there was no such problem.
