McNab and Vimes rushed Mr. Cooper out. Scott was puzzled, "What the hell is going on? He was in a box is he sober?!" The warning signals continued...Scott spoke into the speaker on the othe side of the glass, "How'd you fit in that box mate? What does the box do? Did you use it to commit murder so their would be no finger prints?"
Vimes and McNab returned with Cooper to the backroom. The confusion on their faces were apparent.
"You're alright, Josh?" asked Vimes his friend.
"Yeah.. I'm alright. But what is happening? What's all this noise?"
"No idea... Hope we'll find it out soon."
But the Raven, sitting lonely on that placid bust, spoke only
That one word, as if his soul in that one word he did outpour.
Nothing further then he uttered; not a feather then he fluttered--
Till I scarcely more than muttered, "Other friends have flown before--
On the morrow he will leave me, as my Hopes have flown before."
<blockquote>Then the bird said, "Nevermore."</blockquote>

Burlington awoke just as suddenly as he had collapsed. The Molly shook his head and placed his hand heavily on the metal stool.
"Ugh," murmured Burlington, "Wot the hell was dat mates?"
-----------------------------------------------
Within the conference room, the other constables looked on with bewilderment.
"Deviations from Previously Rec..."
The mechanical, feminine voice suddenly stopped itself.
-----------------------------------------------
As Burlington struggled to stand up, Jerry Whitacre could be heard running down the hall, screaming, "MEDICCCCCC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Whitacre barreled into the interrogation room, slamming into the mirrored wall. Startled, Burlington lost his grip on the stool and fell face flat onto the floor.
"Ag'doh!" cried Burlington, "Watch yer'self guvna! Ya tryin' to kill me, eh, now?"
Behind the constable, a rotund medic trotted along at an even pace. Upon arriving, he introduced himself.
"Ah, the name's Leonard Tubbleton," said the rotund medic in a jolly, rotund voice, "Doctor Leonard Tubbleton."
"Thanks for coming, Doctor," said Captain Scott, the other constables nodded.
"Esquire," added Tubbleton hastily. "Now, where's the patient?"

The rotund doctor pulled up a collapsible chair and inspected Burlington. "Hrmmm," said Tubbleton, "he looks awfully fine to me."
The doctor took out a small, conical object and stuck it to Burlington's chest. He then inserted a small earplug into his right ear.
"Hmmm," said Tubbleton, "Pulse normal."
Tubbleton grabbed Burlington by the chin and raised a light, looking into the man's eyes.
"Git yo' pudgy hands off me, old man!" shouted Burlington, swatting Tubbleton's hand away.
Suddenly, the doctor glared at the prisoner and lunged for the man's neck. Seizing him, he lifted the man clear off the floor. "Don't disrespect, lad. Or this light'll be up yours."
With that, Tubbleton dropped Burlington to the ground. Turning to the Constables, he muttered, "Your prisoner's fine..."
After the Doctor left, the Constables arranged in the meeting room again. Burlington, though shaken, seemed fine.

Burlington was still trying to get on his feet, as Sergeant Vimes entered the interrogation room, carrying a cup of tea and a small object.
"Sit down, Burlington!", he said in a calm but steady voice.
Burlington gave him a contemptous look and muttered some inaudible phrases but complied to the order.
"Now.. can you explain what's all this fuss about? What was in the box? How is it connected to Carlyle's murder?"
The Molly still looked taken along from his recent attack and gave no response. Vimes took a sip of his tea.
"Alright.. Maybe this will help you to remember.."
Vimes put the object he had brought in on the table. It was the artifact found at the site of crime.
"We found this thing next to the body and another one in your ship.. What do you know about them?"
<div align="right"></div>
Burlington eyed the object, and whispered something under his breath. It sounded almost like a hiss, almost like someone trying to muffle a scream through his teeth.
------------------------------------------
"Rrrrrrrrrrrrhhhh?" asked one of the observing constables. The others chuckled.
------------------------------------------
Hand on the stool, Burlington rose, eyes not leaving the artifact. "Where did you get that?" demanded Burlington, staring at the metallic object.
------------------------------------------
Within the room, several of the BPA constables stared into the interrogation room, wondering if Vimes' introduction of the artifact was doing any good. Noticing that the door of the room was ajar from the commotion that just happened before, Constable Lawrence volunteered to shut it.
Just as Lawrence exited, the feminine, mechanical voice rang through the conference room.
"Deviations from Previously Recorded Speech Patterns Detected."
------------------------------------------
"What is it?" demanded Vimes, gesturing at the artifact.
The door of the interrogation room suddenly clanged shut. Burlington's eyes suddenly darted from the artifact to the door of the room. Vimes glanced, back, and in that second, Burlington seized the metal stool and raised it.
------------------------------------------
"LAWRENCE!" exclaimed Captain Scott, "OPEN THE BLOODY DOOR!"
Startled, Lawrence stood there, stunned for a second, but proceeded to unlatch the door as quickly as possible.
------------------------------------------
Burlington brought the heavy stool down on Vimes. But at the last minute, the man's face twitched, and he stopped mid-motion. The resulting swing was barely enough to push Vimes out of the way. The officer buckled from the surprise attack, but was only forced against the nearby wall. The door swung open.
"Vimes!?" shouted Lawrence, standing in the doorway.
Burlington seized the artifact and bolted through the open door, knocking down Lawrence and hurtling down the corridor with tremendous speed.
"After him!!" shouted Vimes.
As the constables went after the suspect, the voice rang out again, "Deviations from Previously Recorded Speech Patterns Detected."
The next few posts should detail Burlington's piecing together the evidence you have already. Burlington's recapture will happen on its own. Try to keep it logical, but use your imagination as well.

While the other officers went off to chase the suspect, Constable McNab rushed to the emergency lock down console in the room, punching in his authorization as fast as he could.
An alarm went off at New Scotland Yard and along side it, the voice of Constable McNab was heard.
"Men, we have a security breach, a molly suspect just managed to escape the interrogation room.
Lock down the armory and barricade all the doors in the building, if you see him, engage him with caution. Use only shock guns and batons, we need him alive men."
With that Brian logged off from the security panel and went towards his locker, punched in the code and got out a rifle of unknown design.
Brian looked down at the gun in his hands and set the operation mode to "Shock".
From the his locker, constable McNab met up with captain Scott, and the gents continued searching for the fugitive.
About an hour passed when the officers, now tiered and pissed off, heard a loud noise from the edge of the corridor they were patrolling in.
Both gents ran to the source of the noise, and as they got to it, they couldn't believe their eyes.
The gents were standing in front of a 7 ft tall hole in the wall. Suddenly, they realised where the hole was leading - The BPA hussars hangers and launch pad.
They radioed for backup and ran to the hanger, but as they got there, Burlington had already wormed up the Hussar's engines.
