And it was a Barghest and an Orchid. Orchid is a Golden Chrysanthemums Bomber. There werent two Kusari Bombers.

My thanks for correcting that.

The other ones were staying back and I saw a gunboat dying.

So? The point is, when the others were staying back, why werent you? If it would have been needed to go in the others would have done already.

Because a fighter is far more suited to handle bombers than any capital ship is. And that only assumes that the pilot doesn't fall to the main tactic of jousting. Frankly, its good tactical sense to deploy skilled fighter pilots (which Enojado falls into the category of) against bomber pilots than capital ships for the same. A single Guardian does not unbalance a small 2v2 skirmish in the same way that a carrier or a gunboat does.

You wont believe it, but a Guardian is made for killing small Barghests and other Bombers, guess how a Guardian can change everything.

You're a bright spark aren't you.

Good tactical sense.

Actually, Im feeling nice so I'll explain in fuller detail why a fighter can shoot while a carrier cannot.

What are the chances of a light bomber and a superheavy taking out a battleship? None. Just keep firing at the bargest and the orchid cant get through your shields.

What are the chances of a light bomber and a superheavy bomber taking out a fighter. Depends entirely on who you fight, and how skillful you are. I'd reason that if you know when to sacrifice a bit of your hull for a joust or better yet, to cross your enemy's flight path, you deserve that kill. If you dont know how to make either decision on the go, then you'll rightfully be looking at the respawn screen.

Understand?

Quite simply put, I saw a dying gunboat and an indie fighter(of which I know wasn't an experienced fighter pilot).

So I figured I'd give them a little hand.

EDIT: Quite note, where were you when all of my situation sketch took place ?

It doesn't unbalance it, simply because the two against the guardian still have a chance to win. Why do you think I seriously consider taking my upholder into huge firefights? Almost every time I fly a bomber, I am guaranteed at least one kill. Frankly, I see you complaining about two bombers against a gunboat and two fighters, and I'm left asking myself what exactly was wrong with it. You had your chance to win, you just didn't. Better luck next time, I'm afraid.

The thing is. Before we got there they were ganked rather badly( had already lost a ship, killed a few and had their resources drained).

That does not mean that this is the right place to discuss it. If there are no serious remarks on LN conduct in this (which I still claim) it might be better not to continue it in this thread.
