Specs:
AMD Sepheron 3000+
768MB DDR2 RAM
Intel Internal 3D Graphics Processor, 32MB
(Trying to get 7300GS Graphics Later on for dirt cheap)
EDIT: I know its not that great. I can run Homeworld:Catylsm on Full Everything

I tried
GameCam
Fraps
ZDSoft Game Recorder

Currently, ZDSoft is the better on out of the three I used in terms of speed and quality.

On FL:
I get average 15-20 FPS when not recording and 10FPS when recording at 10 FPS /w sound on ZD.

I need a recorder that has good/decent quality, and is a minimal resource hog.
any suggestions?

Hmm. I have Growler Guncam, Fraps, and Xfire's VideoBETA. I don't use them much though. Xfire wasn't too laggy, brought my crystal clear 60fps down to around 25.

AMD Athlon 64 3000+ (2.3Ghz)
1024 MB RAM
XFX GeForce 7600GT
A Whole Lotta Hard Drive Space
etc.

Growler GunCam. Best Cam there is if you have a ATI or NVIDIA installed.
Its perfect for me, better than anything I have tried.

You should get a clean 50 if not 60 fps with that video card with FRAPS.

Its better for me, because I want the raw data to work with, so I can compress it to what ever I want later on. Its better when you want different effects sounds and stuff like that, everytime you compress somthing, you loose data...To my knowledge anyway.

if I can have a reccording speed of 15fps in World in Conflcit with growler and ZDsoft gives me 6fps at the same settings. And WiC gives me 15fps average when not reccording. Then growler is really good.
I might try FRAPS again though with my new card
