Turn off POB Damage due to Unstable Servers

Seems like someone is very angry, very very angry at how things are going around here. Is this any kind of an attack? answers plis.

Discovery GC as well as a good number of other Freelancer servers have been under attack for the past couple of weeks or so. Even though it is not a DDoS attack, it still manages to disrupt the server in a similar manner, which is the reason behind the recent server issues as well as the frequent crashes and restarts. The staff are constantly monitoring the server and trying to reduce the downtime as much as possible, but unfortunately, as things currently are crashes and restarts are inevitable.

Cannon, as well as other code wizards of the Starport are already working on a fix. Until then, bear with us and please refrain from making more than one post per downtime. Thank you.

This is the "main" server, so I think it suffers the most severe attacks, and this is the first target. Maybe they continue on other servers if they finish here.

beside from "disappearing" bases with no attacks and fully stocked:

RA and FOW are still needed....

but i don't know it for today, maybe server is stable again (24/7) and bases can be supplied whole day & night without prblems. (?)

What;s the point of supplying, if they are being killed off randomly(?)

Because when they will be restored, I am sure people will look into whether or not the bases were killed by players, died from neglect or got deleted by whatever is causing this.



I will give you three guesses on which ones of those three are going to be restored.

Our Base in Gamma is very well supplied. And we looking a few Times a Day if everything is ok with our Bases. About 2 hours before i flown with the last Ship (full with Reinforced Alloy) to del Sol and the Base was on 42%. I couldn't Dock because the Shield was on, but nobody was in the System! What's going on here?!?!Now the Base is again on 100%, but realy very strange!
