Okay, ive been fooling around with IRONCROSS SP and came across this item.
It is mounted on the torp hardpoint and is very weak and requires no ammo. I diddnt get the discription when I read it.
Can anyone help me out here?

Its weak because it was basically removed, because it was overpowered.

While being quite funny, your sig was the biggest one i've ever seen so far. No more than 700x250 please. ~utrack

Hell beats me...You might check one of the later versions...I think it was in 4.82...But I cant be sure.. I remember about 3800 damage...But I might just be way off..

Before it got nerfed, it fired almost like 40 times a second, I think, and did little damage. But the fact that it tracked targets was insane, and it was nerfed.

It got nerfed because it would track around objects to get to its target.

eg: You dodge and hide behind a station to avoid the swarm missiles, they would follow you.

Plus it's refire caused more lag then chainguns, people would get so lagged when fired at by one they'd die and not realise it.

During its second incarnation, everyone and their dog had it...it was beautiful...in a sort of wtfpwnedhaxxor way...a mini razor that tracked around things, as Marauder said. It obviously broke balance...would be nice to see a balanced incarnation...bet majkps server could handle them, but....well, it would be nice, anyway.
Bit more variety.

But these things tracked like CDes. It was insane. I want them back (In a version with a much lower refire, obviously).

Swarms were CD carcasses with a medium payload, and could be so utterly spammed it wasn't funny.

Of course, it was a godsend against NPCs in missions, which is where I used it. Took down those annoying Corsair legionnaires faster than you could say "wtfhaxorpwn?"

I really liked it, but it certainly was unbalanced when I got my hands on it.
