(NPC) Faction:Britonian Military
Idea:Britonia is on the verge of defeat. Since the fall of Leeds, they have to raise buy rates on military vehicles to surpass Plant Leeds prices.

If it's sustainable, I'd suggest "extended" price adjustments last less than a whole month to keep things a bit more dynamic.

Still, I'm looking forward to people's suggestions as it's an opportunity to have players' in-game actions affect the economy in some way. Got a kudos-worthy encounter? Maybe a big battle? Make an RP note of it and link it to a related commodity adjustment to demonstrate a faction gaining a foothold in a territory, necessary repairs, successful smuggling runs, etc.

Also, could the information thread get a pin for visibility?

How could that be checked (if not by visual evidence submitted to the forums, which is unlikely to happen)?

Just like PoB plugin does that. Just like Rheinland battleship even was carried out.

And how exactly would that work outside the PoB plugin, with NPC bases? I don't know anything about the RMBS event at all, thus I expected a little bit more explaination than two examples telling me basically nothing.

Sounds fun, anybody competent here to verify if it can still be done or not?

Guess if it was done in 2011, it's still possible. But note, that LN for delivery of 400k units of cargo received one NPC rumour.

Idea:

1. Helium from 4,197 per unit to ??? per unit on The Ring Base in New Berlin .

2. Uncut Diamonds from 9989 per unit to ??? on Newark Station in NY .

This will be up illegal / police activity in Liberty and Rheinland .

Kusarians, Bretonians and even ALG can move freely between Rheinland and Liberty. Its not more like the Fuel embargo wherein only Samura (I guess) could move the fuel to liberty. Rising the prices need background RP reasons, but not consequences that might happen if a certain commodity is buffed

No they cannot.

Quote:III. Liberty-Rheinland Embargo.

For the purposes of this section, the borders of Liberty space are defined as the entrances to the Bering and Hudson from Texas, and Bremen from the New Hampshire system. Members of the Liberty Forces are authorised to enforce this embargo on both sides the border.

Any vessel in violation of this embargo, and which resists arrest by the forces of Liberty, will be terminated. Vessels which evade capture or destruction will have their docking rights in Liberty space revoked.

Any vessel wishing to transport goods to either Freeport 2 or Atka Station must request clearance from an officer of the Liberty Forces and should expect to have their cargo checked prior to crossing the border.

I think what Moriarty meant is that Kusarian and Bretonian companies can pass commodities between the two belligerent houses without having to pass through the warzone, which is the only area where the embargo (of liberty origin) is enforced.
