Can any of you guys help me. I had to reinstall my pc and could only write my character ID codes down on a piece of paper. when i enter the codes and signatures into this progam it believes them to be invalid ID's. I cant find my accounts and could have lost alot. If anyone has anything that might help, id much appriciate it.

When you say "it believes them to be invalid ID's" do you mean Launchpad thinks they're invalid, or Freelancer? I can't recall any logic that would decide whether any data is valid. I think as long as all required fields are populated (name, code and signature) it'll take it.
If it's the Launchpad giving you this error, can I get you to post a screenshot?

mine was .DATA and it imported fine both of my accounts.
I've been in touch with DBS via PMs to help out and from what I can tell he doesn't use any account manager. Unfortunately, it looks like DBS' original account information was overwritten somehow so I've suggested he contact an admin and get some movechar codes put onto his ships and move them over to some account.
If the Launchpad indicates the currently activated account is not recognized by the application ("WARNING: Account not found!" emphasized in bright red at the bottom of the Launchpad), any attempt to activate another account without creating an account for the currently activated one will result in this code and signature being lost.
