It is still a roleplay server. Roleplay that is announced oorply by an open request, then discussed and debated by a lot of people loses most of its appeal and interesting aspects.

Easy as that.
True, but there's also the need to keep the discussions open and transparent so that it doesn't look like folks are sucking up to the devs/admins for favoritism. I'm not saying that you are, but in a player group as large and diverse as ours, we should be holding ourselves to a higher standard. That is the WHOLE POINT of having this thread. Otherwise, why would devs need/want our input at all?
Quote:Cryer Pharmaceuticals official representatives (Cryer| only) vessels may export:
- Med-Stasis Bands
- Pharmaceuticals
- Stabiline
- Synthetic Marijuana
Why should this be Cryer only for export? For now, it would seem the most logical hotspot is Leeds. But given the general overall state of fighting that takes place...you could shift any place in Sirius or Gallia into a temporary hotspot for these. Also note, Synth Mary-J already sells for decent in Newcastle, right next door to the Taus.
Given the current price of Premium Scrap Salvagers can make almost double
the profit a rogue can with 600 less cargo space. However just an idea i'm throwing about since
rogues can now go and sell BMM to Crete. Can we buff this?
I know I spoke someone about 7000 being the new price. But I think it needs to even more than that.
a few figures to consider.
Rochester is the closest sell point for BMM it sells it for: 899 Per unit
A pirate train hold 4300.
If you chose to have guns this is now 4235.
Currently you can sell them on:
Planet Crete for 5545 per unit giving you a profit of: $23,483,075.
Takes 25 minutes 42 seconds. (if you can Power lane the whole way there)
Alcudia supply station for 6701 per unit giving you a profit of: $28,378,735.
Takes 30 minutes exactly (if you can Power lane the whole way there)
Seguro Refugio for 5595 per unit giving you a profit of: $23,694,825.
Takes 24 minutes 45 seconds (if you can Power lane the whole way there)
Realistically add 5- 10 min on those if you get held up having to go
around PoB and outrun police.
What I was hoping for was:
BMM to 10k~ at Planet Crete. This gets a pirate trains a hefty 42m profit
(the trip is about 10 min longer than alpha).
The obvious answer might to be to a few people get congress to mine rogues premium scrap.
And If I could I would. But have you seen Rogues and Congress on at the same time.
It might be possible to ask in game if there was one.
Also another note I'd probably only do this for a long weekend of maybe push it to a week or two.
If nobody bites then we'll just have to come up with something else.
Quote:1) Iridium: 9000 per unit (From 2928) on Planet Holstein
Nice to see that one happening.
2 questions:
Is it intentional that the dropoff point is a DHC planet?
The rephacks make it impossible for all mining factions except DHC to dock there. Even the independent miners ID that has the only bonus cannot dock there because of rephack. Is it meant that DHC should spread their wings and move to Delta now? Or is it meant to be that miners and shippers need to have separate IDs? Or is it an oversight?
Have there been changes in the mining mod for Iridium (as they were with Premium Scrap)?
It was painfully slow (~ 2 / rock), so it would be ~6 with the independent miners bonus (x3?, not sure). It is not really feasible, if the changes are not deeper in nature (make Iridium drop 1-5 / rock, and add multipliers of x3 to an ID), so that it is similar to other ore. With the mining site 60+ k from the next destination and a hostile base directly nearby and Nomads around who can no-rp you... 9k selling price will not draw people out there, I predict.
Still, this is going into the right direction.
Thank you for doing these changes! It makes FL a lot more dynamic and makes it feel alive and player-driven.
P.S: Oh, and by the way: I did not request that for IMG. My "secret" rp is still being prepared... for maximum secrecy.

Don't worry. It is a pure roleplay event that would not profit IMG but the allies of IMG mostly, as well as a lot of freelance traders and smugglers, depending on how the rp evolves.
If I wanted to get special gimmicks for my faction, I would use other me[A]ns, obviously.
But I would just say: let's not take away the surprise.
I promise, it is absolutely harmless in nature and does not provide any advantage in terms of "money route, ore access, bonus, etc).
I understand your point, however it is unfounded. If the Devs/admins in charge find that it should be here publically, they always have the power to publish it. Their call.

Finally, I've waited almost 20 hours for that post since I got yelled at on skype, you're getting old Jack
1. All mining factions can dock at DHC planets, with two exceptions: Generic Miner ID and, tsk tsk, IMG. Is IMG preparing to spread its wings and move to Del..oh wait.
2. DHC had deep and extensive cooperation and roleplay with Core before my time in Disco, what possibly explains that buypoint. I didn't request it, but it's nice addition.
