Serenity takes a class 5 engine

Other transports take a class 6 engine.

Also just noticed there aren't any council/UC class 5's.

Looks like I have some bug reports to fill out.

I wished that the gallic civilian fighter engine would have same effect and color as the gallic civ transport engine, but instead its a weird yellow - green 8|

Yeah, that's not unique to the black market versions. The gallic civ fighter engine effect is different from the gallic civ transport engine effect.

Looks like I have to expand the guide to account for ship class. Joy.

I'm very happy with the council engines, I put them on my junker ships for maximum pollution overcharge.

This is a really cool feature. Thank you devs!

Now we just need to fill in the missing engines, and figure out how to switch cap engines. :3

What I am yet to find are Blackmarket Sirian engines for usage on Gallic spacecraft.

I don't think there are any. I looked through the list in fl comp and I did not see any that seemed to be black market sirian engines for gallia.

The reason there isn't a black market UC gunboat engine nor are there black market UC and Council engines is because there are no standard versions of these. Why? There are no Council or Corse transports (though the Council builds the Tavros freighter and UC builds l'Anes with the Brigands), and the Corse have no gunboat.

Personally, as the [UC] leader and a [C] member, I'd love for standard versions of those. Black market too, I guess, but it would be more awesome if people RP'd for such tech exchanges (are there black market Sirian engines? No) or - shock and horror - joined Gallic factions. Trust me, they're fun

Also, a reskinned Courier so that there's then a Courier Noir? Wishfully thinking on my part, I suppose. If only our VHF modeler hadn't suddenly disappeared last minute. Sorry for the rambling - see my first paragraph here for the topic pertinent reply
