I returned from Baden-Baden in the Stuttgart system to deliver this briefing in person as it is quite an important one.
It gives me great pleasure to announce that the Agency has achieved the status that we have so long sought. As of midnight last night, we are officially licensed to operate in Rheinland. This means that we are effectively a Galaxy-wide business.
In addition, I can also announce the terms of a deal concluded with Interspace Neuralnet Department (Interspace Commerce).
Quote:
The Search and Destroy Agency, hereinafter referred to as the Agency, and Interspace Neuralnet Department, hereinafter referred to as IND, hereby agree to the following terms:
A. Identities of the Parties

IND, whose business address is registered in Newark Station, Manhattan Orbit, New York system, Liberty; Waterloo Station, New London Orbit, New London System, Bretonia; Roppongi Station, New Tokyo Orbit, New Tokyo System, Kusari; and Bonn Station, New Berlin System, Rheinland is in the business of trade and commerce.
B. Description of the Goods/Services
The Agency agrees to transfer and deliver to IND the below-described goods and services:
Design and construction of ten APM custom built BHG Bomber class vessels
Security-assessment of IND fleet.
Combat training for IND security escort personnel .
Manned on-site guarding services to safeguard personnel, installations, and equipment at Bonn Station and Newark Station.
IND agrees to transfer and deliver to the Agency the below-described goods and services:
Full docking rights and access to station maintenance, repair and communication facilities at Newark Station, Manhattan Orbit, New York system, Liberty; Waterloo Station, New London Orbit, New London System, Bretonia; and Bonn Station, New Berlin System, Rheinland.

In light of these developments, and the recent concerns raised by the situation in Bretonia, I am giving the following directives that affect all staff.
All APM craft will be re-licensed under the Interspace Commerce Identification Protocol. IFF Transponders may be adjusted as soon as time allows. As Interspace are recognised in all four Houses, logistics teams are analysing current routes for optimal profitability.
Operational squads shall report to Newark Station in New York or Bonn Station in New Berlin as soon as possible and commence hunting. Get a feel for the opponents. Utilise jump-holes. All agents are ordered to analyse Special Agent De Virgo's intelligence reports on Rheinland and the terms of the security contract immediately.
Sir Douglas Bader, Assistant Director, will be moving to New York, and managing the office on Newark Station. Sir Douglas has often expressed a desire to see Liberty. I believe his actual words were something along the lines of "I'd rather sit in the orbit of Manhattan than listen to opera", so I hope I'm interpreting things correctly.
Assistant Director Harvey Blackwater will be resuming duties in Sheffield.
Which brings me to the next item. The Doghouse. Recent events have demonstrated the Kusari invaders' disregard for the civilian population of New London. The orbital security is under review by the Admiralty. The Doghouse appears to be particularly vulnerable. We are therefore faced with the task of raising its defensive capabilities and reinforcing the super-structure. This construction work will take many months, so the station will be reduced to a skeleton crew to manage the containment facility. Reduced capacity for prisoner confinement means that the Prisoner Transport Service will see an increase in business.
In addition, I have ordered the construction of two orbital defense platforms to guard the construction site. These are manned platforms and should deal easily with any minor incursions by small craft.
These are wonderful times, gentlemen, and we all stand to benefit from these changes.
I will depart for Baden-Baden tomorrow morning. My health is not the best.

Roger on the changes sir. Does this mean we are allowed to hunt in the New York system. That place has alway been given a wide berth by us for obvious reasons. Also are we suspending patrols in the Bretonia house zone? With everyone moving to either New York or New Berlin makes patroling Bretonia space. Or is it we do not want to become embroiled with the Kusari / Bretonia war? Either way will move to Bon station to begin updating my nav maps.

Well made the move and even had a little fun with Agent Ferral. We, with the help of the local military, splashed two outlaws. Much to our displeasure the military got the kill, but it was a good for us to work with them. Currently working on updating my Nav maps of these new systems. Parked At Bonn for now.

Well mate, made my way from Sheffield to Rheinland space. I stopped by Bonn station to check out our new digs then made a quick run to Rostock. Picked up a new toy and then returned to Dresden. Oy' that systems is a hazy mess. Stumbled onto the Hessian base by accident and angered the locals. Those blokes are touchy. Anyhow completed my Nav map of Dresden then took the back way into Frankfurt.
Mapped out that system and played with the locals there also. Unioners are pesky blokes. Oh a note there is an odd looking field of what appears to be mines in the cloud behind planet Stulingen. Then made my way over to Munic. They gots some nice stations here. May have to buy a place for retirement here. Anyhow mapped the all the lanes and stations. Stopped off on Nuremburg for the night. Will continue mapping tomorrow.

After reporting to Sheffield station and receiving my S/D id and voucher for an Arrow light fighter I proceeded to Cali Minor to pick up my new ship. Took a few missions from the Job board to get used to a light fighter again and I must say what the Arrow gives up in firepower she makes up for in grit and agility.
In an effort to get the most out of the Arrow I visited the quartermaster at Capetown station in Omega 56 for an amour upgrade and a cannonball missile launcher. On my way back I was contacted by the APM-Sagittarius requesting an escort. The trip from New London to Dashima Station was uneventful the trip back however.. Blackbeards.Pearl set on us in his Pirate Gunboat just as we came to the New York gate from Colorado. I was able to distract him just long enough for Captain Phelps to enter the jump gate fortunately tractoring in the wreckage of my ship just as he jumped. With a lot of luck and hard work by the repair crews my arrow was repaired in time to greet Agent Winters and assist him in obtaining his ship and ID's

It's Witter, Grafton and yes thank you very much for your assistance. I hope to see you in the field again soon.
Today whilst patrolling between Manchester, Magellan & California, I found something most disturbing. We are bounty hunters yes, but why doesn't anyone understand our rights in House Space? I asked a ship to stop today so i could scan his cargo but he refused stating that 'your no cop' and he proceeded to the engage the trade lane. I found in his cargo bay a large quantity of Illegal Software. i'm sorry to report that he got away from me.
Then later in my patrol, the space above Planet Mojave was under attack from Liberty Rogues ((NPC's)). I aided the Police in the destruction of the pirate scum and tractored in the pilots to collect my bounty upon Sheffield. However it seems that the possession of a Pirate within my hold angered the police and they demanded my cargo.
Who is right? How can I collect bounty if I cannot take the pilots prisoner?

Apologies for my recent absence. While I was asleep, some idiot had too much to drink in the Sheffield bar, pinched my Manta for a joyride and smashed headlong into planet Jersey. Man, was I ever annoyed. APM needs to make those things harder to hotwire.
Anyway, I got the memo, so I've headed out to Bonn Station. Is this place still under construction or something? There's massive holes in the superstructure, and scaffolding everywhere.
Oh, yes, that reminds me. Rheinland's a pretty tough neighbourhood, from past experience, so I'd like to commission a bomber, callsign S/D-Tabula.Rasa to bust any criminal capital ships I might come across. I can have it assembled at Sheffield then brought out here.

Well finished up mapping that Munich system. I found it interesting that the local Unioners there are sporting some of our weapons. After smashing a few of those blokes I was surprised to find I had two buckshots in my hold along with the escape pods. They also are using the Paralyser missile system, since I also picked up one of those. Seems one of our weapon depots are not keeping tight enough control of these things.
After finishing my patrol in Munich I headed over to Hamburg. Got that place nav'ed out and then retired to Bonn station for the night. Will continue mapping the New Berlin and Stuttgart in the morning.
