I Think we should get rid of the swarm. I want to see how many people agree and how many people disagree and how many people couldn't careless.

If the stars should appear one night in a thousand years, how would men believe and adore and preserve for many generations the remembrance of the city of God? - from 'Nightfall' by I. Asimov
The Outcasts consider Siniestre Nube a sacred place for several reasons. Early explorers discovered a jumphole within the depths of the cloud that leads to a strange world of ringed stars and strange craft. All ships in the burrial ground are placed facing that hole to honor the Alien Spirits. - An Outcast rumor

Those who vote 'NO' automatically vote for total player wipe. What will happen with files of all players who had Swarm if I remove the item from the mod? Basically, they won't be able to log in, or they will and server will crash, or server and client will crash, or whatever bad consequences you can imagine.

Wait for Beta 5 (will be available very soon), test swarm then and start polls like that afterwards. I believe I've done what was required to do with Swarm.

Ok then....

If its still bad, then you could just remove all the damage it does so its like firing blanks and make it so no place will sell 'em and have them be sold for the same price as when they bought it to compensate the loss (or at least close).

Oh well, another one goes the way of the Sidewinder. Major detune. If its the same
for everyone it doesn't matter really. We all get to try something else again.

come on now guys, you have countermeasures for a reason they do work quite well against missles pods and these missiles are exremely ez to dodge, ask korrd, alothough they did get the better of me in the long run I've dodged many slavos in our last pvp session.

Countermeasures do not work against the swarms. there are so many missiles coming so fast and countermeasures only affect 2-3 at a time.

And if you put it on autodrop, you lose all 70 in seconds.

I'll make another thread like this in the future... If swarms are still too powerful, that is...
