It boils down to the same reason that any pirate faction flies anything that their NPC's don't, the RP is terrible in a light fighter, if you're found you die, if you try to pirate, you die. We have to have the big guns to actually have fun. Trust me nobody likes dying all the time, it's demoralising and annoying and nothing casues players to leave factions like getting down and very very peed off. Stick to the ship list you've got it's plenty restrictive enough for any faction.

Our NPCs, at least the guards, do actually fly Sabres though. We have also been considering moving a good part of our force into the Stilleto, the craft of Bundschuh NPCs, but the problem with that is that it is actually worse than the Scimitar, Sabre, and Loki, all of which would be reasonable Bundschuh craft. I think I'll actually create a light fighter this weekend though; could be a nice change of pace.

As for the Sigma-13 camping, there's a variety of reasons for that. Firstly, we have a Sigma 13 jump hole beside both of our bases. Literally, barely 10k away. Second, that infernal Sigma-13 to New Berlin jumphole. If traders would actually RP and not fly right into that hole through a debris field and through nomad infected pilots, well, Frankfurt would be ample. As is it now though, there is absolutely no reason for someone in the know to go to Frankfurt. Even if traveling to Munich, going through Halle, the RFP guard system, is much quicker.

I was about to point out my thoughts about a good role-play for a Bundschuh faction.
But this is obsolete now.

Your posted role-play intentions do not match the given faction role-play.

I've seen nothing from you that isn't insulting, actually.

What, exactly, do you know about Bundschuh role-play? First off, telling me my RP was, and I frikking quote,

with no explanation and then not following up when I ask how is not exactly a good way to start an interaction with people you will have to deal with (yes, you will deal with me. Actually, if you keep up the blatant disregard of your peers you might find a bounty entitled "kill 'till he quits playing or learns some respect" placed on your head if I don't get to you first).

Second off, the infocard on the Bundschuh? Contradictory to EVERY LAST RUMOR AND INFO THINGIE EVERYWHERE WITHOUT EXCEPTION. It's pretty new, and sorry Igiss, but Bundschuh are run of the mill pirates in the same way that Xenos are a trading faction. Rumors often mention "If you want to get rich, don't fly with us: we don't pirate."
Yes, the rumors for a "pirate" faction say that the faction DOES NOT PIRATE IF THEY CAN HELP IT.
Don't point to NPC behaviour either: for example, the BHG Piranhas "police" miffing BATTLESHIP PATROLS for their pilots, or at least try... and fire on their own bases, too.

I've gathered no reason to respect anything you say, and I won't think highly of those who do.

NOTE: I am flying an independent Bundschuh with somewhat unique RP, story yet unfinished. I do NOT represent the [BU] and my actions are independent of theirs, though I might work with them here and there.

That said, I had further good experiences with you guys last night (or this morning... I was up pretty late...), and think you'll do well. One of you (K.Konstantin) helped me finish setting up my bomber (he isn't kidding: try getting a BW transport to obey a VHF, especially about dropping that diamond shipment- it doesn't work), and we took a little tour here and there, even bagged us a nice pretty trophy for their bank. I can't say I really know you guys, but everything I've seen recently has been better than I can ask for in a faction. Much better than some current factions, too, and I will be quite sad if you guys do not get approved.

I have posted my opinion in a civilized manner and tried to do it in brief.
This is a discussion thread and so it is the intension of my opinion.

I wanted to point out that the current group is role-playing as generetic pirates nothing more.
There were no insulting intensions.

If you guys want to do it as more pirates than a political faction, do it. Good luck.
But i don't like it.
And i bet some other players share my opinion.

And the admin-team's approval is still pending if i'm not wrong.

Everyone calm down, I go and play a different game for a week and everything blows up in my face.

Alright, Steel if you believe we are nothing more than generic pirates then please give photo evidence and other players backing your own words.

Here is what the Bundschuh do.

We blockade systems as best as possible, our main targets as stated in the faction document are Rep Shipping, Daumann, and Kruger. They, being the corporations, are percieved by the Bundschuh as puppets to the percieved fascist state that controlls them. With their only purpose to feed the Rheinland war machine. This also goes out to the traders who perform the diamond, nodium run. As the nodium is used to build warships for the police and military. Our main concerns are engine components, rations, nodium, diamonds, mox, slaves, prisoners(some of them are Bundschuh/RH pilots), copper, ship hull panels, basicly anything that can be applied militarily. If we encounter passengers we will attempt to escort that freightor out of the system on the grounds of saving them from the facist state.

We also do smear campaigns against the military in New Berlin, attempting to RP, but from the reports I'm getting were only getting shot at in return. I'm also asking that all BU pilots send me screen shots just so I can get more information to find truth to what their saying.

To mention a few things about using Sabre's, we do it to stay a live. Every time we go near Holstein we're gambling our ships due to a certain battleship in orbit.

I've also put a cap on the outcast weapons as well. Every time I go out with my men I watch to see how they RP with who ever they meet.

To their credit, the new [BU] has displayed some of the most creative and engaging RP that I have seen on the server in a long while.

In the evenings, I usually try to find some time to do a little trading between NT-NB. As I pass through Frankfurt, there is often at least one BU there (usually Konstanin) explaining to some trader why transporting his/her cargo (usually diamonds and niobium for this route) supports the the Rheinland fascists.

For example, a few days ago they detained my husband for questioning while traveling in Frankfurt. They demanded to know why he was delivering his niobium to the Ring. Instead of demanding money or cargo, they made a deal with him that required him to deliver his goods to a junker base to thwart the regime.

This is way more fun than the usual pirate mantra, 2 million or die, sucka.

I'm playing on a very regular basis the last three weeks.

Here is my opinion:
Without beeing offical you guys have gathered a fleet.
Beside RHA i saw BU in Sig13 camping.
You are recuiting and building up a faction without approval.

I was insulted.

My fellow players this is a 'Faction Creation Requests' forum.
And some fellow players of this BU 'show' showed a very, very 'strange' attitute to ME.

Again, my opinion is: A PvP whoring group with a role-play as disguise.

Proove me wrong.
