Major Alpha: Schadel this is Major Jack Alpha of the AW we are on our way to New Berlin to meet with Lord Captain Dab whos is there as we speak.

There was a pause before.

Rheinland Captain: Very well Major proceed

However as this has been happening the rheinland gunboat that had been following them had docked with the jump Gate. Now that they were cleared both the Major and Keiran docked with the Jump gate, however when they came out the other side the gunboat opened fire and destroyed their ships before anything could be done except for eject. Floating in their escape pods they both felt a tractor beam taking them closer to the gunboat. Inside thw gunboat when they were pulled out of their escape pods by 2 officers wearing Bretonnian uniforms.

Keiran: What the....

He was interupted by a man who has just walked into the room/

Captain Alemani: Jack its been an awful long time, how the hell are you. im sor...

He was interupted by a furious major.

Major Alpha: YOU RAT BA***RD!

One of the guards hit him with a stun baton and knocked him unconscious.

Captain Alemani: Nice to se you too Jack. Take them both to the holding cells.

The gusrds took all of their weapons except keirans dagger, which he was able to hide. They then escorted him and carried the Major to the holding cells where they thrown in the same cell. 5 minutes later the Major woke up.

Major Alpha: *groans* That SOB hit me with a stun baton didnt he.

Keiran: Yes he did.

Major Alpha: *groans* Im going to kill that ba***rd.

Keiran: I take it you two have history.

Major Alpha: Yeah *groans* Captain Frank Alemani was one of three officers in the Bretonnian secret service who had convinced high command that I was too great a threat to be simply exiled and that I should be killed. So it was there fault that my emotions are screwed up. I have repaid the other two for their kindness and I swore that I would kill him. Not much chance of that happening.

Keiran: Oh dont be so sure Major.

He pulled out the Dagger and winked his eye.

Keiran: I think that we will be just fine.

The Ableben was escorted to The Ring, and there she was told to stay put. The shuttle that carried Dab and his two bodyguards was also escorted by the Feuer and the Wasser. Just before the shuttle went to land, a quick transmission from the Feuer came in.
"Lord Captain, we have to break formation. We appear to have a... situation."
Dab: "What kind of situation?" His eyes narrowed in suspicion.
Feuer Captain: "It would appear as if we have a rouge unit to take care of. This does not require your attention, Lord Captain. We will take care of it." With that, the connection was broken and the two gunboats turned off to find that one 'rouge' gunboat who had dared mess up what should have been a simple meeting.

There was no incident in landing, but when Dab stepped out of the shuttle a whole platoon of Rhinland soldiers had drawn up honnor guard positions. At first glance it was a show of respect, however a closer examination revealed that all the weapons were loaded and the soldiers were in (if highly polished) full combat gear. A Commisar and two more soldiers aproached Dab.
"Lord Captain, transport to the Chancellor's Citadel is awaiting." He motioned for Dab to follow.

Keiran: Don't worry Major I'll be back soon.

Major Alpha: What?

Keiran smirked. And with that he slit his arm open.

Major Alpha: What in hell is he thinking?! Guard! Come here!

One of the guards ran up rifle alreadyb pointing at the two figures in the cell. Until he saw the blood coming from the man's arm. He pulled out a miniature hand-held commlink.

Guard 1: Medical bay get a stretcherup her immediately!

With that the door opened and the guard grabbed Keiran and pulled him out as the footsteps of the medical officers came within earshot. the doors then shut close again and the last thing he saw was Keiran tucking the dagger into his shirt.

Major Alpha: Under his breath He's crazy.

AW-Defender - NY System

As the transmission of Dab ended, Korrd prepared to meet with the Defender. That ship was a specially equiped Liberty cruiser. one third the size of the enterprise and 2 times faster.
The cruiser was the most suitable ship to quickly travel through the asteroid fields that were in the systems between Delta and NY. It was also equiped with a prototype of forward gun that never entered production due to instability on the firing chamber. The gun was unstable, and used 90% more power than the normal one, but it did twice the damage in comparison.
The cruiser also had 2 of the most fully equiped science labs of all the AW fleet. Something the Enterprise lacked. Something that most AW ships lacked as they were menat for combat, not science.
It also had more advanced sensors, something that would be very useful for the task at hand. In fact, Korrd customized the ship to do exploration and science more than combat. It was maybe the only science ship of the whole fleet.
I should order Enterprise to dry dock one of this days, for a complete refit he thought. But there is allways something that needs doing. And because of that the ship havent had a rest for quite a few years...

Once aboard the Defender he ordered a course to the nearest jump hole. The officers of the defender believed that the ship was equiped with special technology. But the true was that some of that "special" tech was a fake created by Korrd in order to cover the usage of his powers. He didnt want humans to know his true nature. At least not yet.

The ship entered the Jump hole to Minor and once inside he did a little trick to reach NY faster. He connected the NY jump hole to the Delta JH temporarily, so the ship could transit directly between systems without having to pass through Alaska. Instead of 36 hours, the travel took less than 10 minutes.

Once there he headed to Manhattan. The trade lanes were off line, so the trip took a little longer. he could have used his power to take the ship faster, but he wanted to keep a low profile.

When he reached Manhattan, he looked to the planet and saw the destruction. Millions of people died. There was debris everywhere. Hundreds o ships destroyed were in orbit arround the planet. It was an horrific sight.

He gave some quick orders to the crew and the ship exploded into life. Sensor sweeps in every directions looking for something indicative of kristy's ship. Or a trail of his ship. Some clue that pointed them in the right direction...
They also found some survivors in the debris, in some big sections of the destroyed battleships. And some lifepods too. Survivors were beamed aboard the defender.

Ops officer --Sir, we have detected a faint energy signature on the starboard docking clamp 1. Computer could not identify it. It was a quick energy peak. It lasted 0.003 seconds. it might well be a glitch of the sensors. I will run a diagnostic to be sure.

Korrd --Right. but wait until the area sweep is complete. We need all sensors to scan the area. we cant afford to loose a single second. This could happen anywhere if we dont get to her in time.

Ops --Yes sir.

The ship continued the scan. Ignoring that they werent alone anymore... They were being watched... very closely...

I hate playing spy games, but this is my best chance of finding Kristy... before these insane clowns kill her.

With news of the events happening in New York spreading throughout the sector, the HMCS-Magnificent is recalled immediately back to Cambridge.

Approaching the planet even from a large distance away, several orbital field generators could be seen encircling Cambridge. They're exact purpose and function known only to a select few within the top ranks of the CRI and SF.

Meeting up with two transports in orbit, the Magnificent is immediately issued new orders to escort the transports to New London and Leeds. Taking advantage of the tradelanes, the ships are escorted to their destinations without incident and begin deploying similar orbital arrays around the two planets.

Once settled inside the cocpit he spoke "Nightfall here, clear me the dock!"
Not long after that, the Ampoliros' fightrbay door opened to let out a lone black colored Sabre drop out of it. The second it cleared the dock the black Sabre hit cruise...

Ops --Sir, the area scan has been completed. No results so far. If her ship left a trail, it was erased by the radiation being emited from the wrecks.

Korrd --Dammit. RAdiation is not covering all the systems. Send probes to all jump holes and jump gates. Program them to follow a straight direction from here.

Tactical officer --Sir, there might be a way. We have quite a lot of information about kristy's ship from AW inteligence. And, she could not have used a tradelane to escape as tradelane system is off line.

Korrd --I know. What do you have in mind?

Tac --We can get the black boxes of the ships that were destroyed here, and sensor logs of the stations in the area, not the planet as the planetary sensor grid was destroyed in the attack.
If someone of them saw her trajectory, it is most likely it would be a straight line. Because TL's are off line.

Korrd --Good good good. Get started. Keep me posted.

Streaks of lightning shot out in random directions, hitting nearby asteroids, some striking the Isis Harmlessly and other strikeing the Nomad Lair. Light illuminated the ghostly image in the fog every few seconds, then it disapeared.

Sitting in her room she brought up a Sirrus starmap showing kusari, Liberty, Rheinland, Britonia and the border worlds.

Sephiroth: Computer, bring up the location of every R&D station and planet in the colonys.

The computer took a moment the up came a list of Stations and planets from all over the four colonys. Cambridge station and the planet it was orbiting, Station in California, Honshu, Ames Research station in the independent worlds, and even one in Dresden.

Hmm, i don't have time to check all of them all, but you know what I know who does...

She patched in the Bridge....

Sephiroth: Communications, I need a message sent to Mactan, for a man named Darkstar, and Virus to, tell them I want to meed them at Yaren in two days, and they had better not be late.

Comm Officer: Yes ma'am ill sned it right now.

She smiled, now we'll see how good these phantoms really are.

Keiran was in the infirmary getting stitched up by one of the guards. The other one was out side so Keiran waited until the best oppertunity then he pulled the dagger and rammed it into the mans chest he screamed in pain and collapsed dead. The second guard ran in but he didnt resond quick enough as Keiran had already picked up the dead guards gun and shot the second guard as he came through the door. Keiran left the infimary and headed for the brig. He was walking for no longer than 2 minutes when he came to a corner. Around the corner were 2 guards guarding the entance to the brig. Keiran walked around the corner taking them by surprise he shot the first guard who collapsed dead. The second guard opened fire on hm but missed, it was the biggest mistake of his life because Keiran opened fire and the second guard was splattered against the bulkhead. He took the keys from the dead guards and walked in. He unlocked the cell and gave the Major went over to a table and picked up his weapons. They walked outside and heard running up ahead they aimed their guns at the corner at the far side of the corridor. when the 2 officers ran around the corner they didnt get further than 5 ft down the corridor before they wer lying on the deck dead. The Major and Keiran continued up to the bridge as they were walking down the corridor to the bridge door Keiran asked.

Keiran: So how many of them are there.

Major Alpha: 10 and the captain, standard procedure. The 5 of them will be in the bridge.

Keiran: Alright ready.

Major Alpha: ready.

They walked in and opened fire. They both got the first 2 guards but when the next came into view Keiran shot one but the Major missed the other who shot him in the right hand. Keiran shot the officer who collapsed dead on top of the others. Captain Alemani made a break for one of the ajoining rooms but the Major, using his left hand drew one of his katana and threw it at him. It hit him in the back and he let out a scream of agony before the Major picked up his gun and shot him. Keiran changed the course for New Berlin and sat down as the Major pulled his blade out of the captains back and wiped the blood off of it using the dead captains uniform.

Major Alpha: Thats for the Trinity you ba****d

Keiran: The Trinity?

Major Alpha: That was the name of the transport. Have you sent that transmission?

Keiran: Yes the Rheinland military has been aprised, they said to take the shuttle in the emergency shuttle stored in the smsall launch bay.

Major Alpha: Then lets go.

The Gunboat came out of the trade lane and came to a rest. When the shuttle diembarked from the launch bay they saw a Rheinland Cruiser pull up and a ahuttle launch from theie docking bay and headed for the Gunboat. Keiran contacted the Ableben and aprised them of the situation. They permitted them to dock and informed them that Dab was meeting with the Admiral. They landed and disembarked from the shuttle and headed for the bridge of the Ableben.
