I was born on planet Kyushu and went with many problems that led into fleeing from official Kusari systems, because of changes in the government. I have settled for a short time in Bretonia, but was forced to escape from there after Gallic Invasion.
After I settled back in Kusari, my father and brother, with their friends settled Kyushu Trade Alliance. After some time however, father died and Katsuyori went for restructurised KTA into Kyushu-Tomioka Alliance. Despite my brother's pleading, I left KTA for good - because he sacrificied independence for protection against bullying Farmers Alliance. I have been simply displeased with my borther's decision - because I knew how Samura works and how far it can go with dirty tricks.
After all odds, which even had me almost sold into slavery by Hogosha, I've ended up to working as a freelance miner under GMG papers, afraid to go back to Kusari again.

Background: Mamimi fled to the guild with her little brother Naota less than two years ago, escaping a Kusari criminal known as Faye Valentine, or Haruko Haruhara. They both worked for GMG, Mamimi in GTS and Naota in MV, until ilness struck Naota, who needed cares, and they both took a lave. Naaota sadly died from that illness, and Mamimi, after some long mourning, decided to go back to work and pursue her dreams and ambitions as GMG again.

Prior to now I have worked in several positions. The first of these was as a logistical clerk on Waterloo Station with Interspace. This experience was fundamental to learning the applied theory in distribution and sourcing of materials, established and new. My real passion however was in the exploration of Sirius and beyond and the discovery of new materials and resources to benefit humanity. This led to a very long trip to Tau-37 to become a research consultant on-board Falkland base, consisting of scouting and testing sources of niobium and various collection methods. However, my Kusari heritage and linkage back to an ancestry in the GMG caused friction with colleagues and in time I realised I should serve my own.
Background:
Born to Kusari parents who had emigrated to Bretonian space, childhood was harsh and I quickly took to space to fulfil my potential in life. I studied at Canterbury Station on a graduate programme with Planetform, but the focus on one place didn’t suit me as there was little scope for travel and I realised the area of science was not what I was interested in. As such, I sought out a course focusing on material properties and extraction with BMM, after which Ibegan moving between positions as stated above. I wish to return to my Kusari routes, but travel the length and breadth of the stars for new wondrous materials to study.

Name: Yukine Annabella Ivakira Age: 20 Previous Occupation: Tau Asteroid Mining Operation Current vessel(s): GMG 'Kamome' Gas Miner Background: Yukine was born on Kyushu, to her Kusari parents and lived in the house that her father's father, from Rheinland, had built from the ground. Her grandfather gave her her second name, Annabella, as a sign of her Rheinland ancestry as well. Her father worked at the Tau Asteroid Mining Operation on quite a high spot as well, his salary paying the needed supplies for their family to flourish.
Shortly after her birth, the Nomad war happened and put a hard strain on Yukine's family's life. Her father had to work under constant risk, and had to avoid going to the war. After the war ended, the family's financial situation was in a dire situation. Her father was almost never home, having to work day and night so that the Ivakira family would have food and shelter.
When Yukine reached the age of nine, her six years older brother had to go work as well, to help the lowered financial income as their father didn't make enough income due to problems at work. Yukine was left with her three years younger sister, mother, father's father and mother's mother. This continued for six years.
During a winter on Kyushu, a tragedy befell their family: Yukine's father died. An accident had happened in the Tau systems, and her father's ship exploded. This meant that the Ivakira family had to starve and live in poverty. At least they still had their home. Worst yet though, after a year her brother disappeared, his origins unknown. That is when Yukine signed herself up to the Tau Asteroid Mining Operation, and signed a contract from there on, she went under her second name, Annabella.
Annabella had to work long days and hard, with the pay only being 1200 credits a month. She could barely visit her family, only returning home to sleep. The contract also had a few small written areas which allowed the company to exploit her. Two years she had to endure this until a GMG representative approached Annabella, and offered for her to work for them. The contract promised her a place to stay on the Fujisawa base in Okinawa. It offered food for her, meaning she didn't have to spend money on it daily. The GMG gave her a decent ship, which can stand against many hazards in space. The salary was also higher, 1880 credits a month. It also would not exploit her in any way. Annabella accepted the job.
//OOC: I was actually approached by a person who sponsored me a GMG 'Kamome' Gas Miner ship. I've only found out lately that the GMG| tag was different from a simple GMG ID card >< I've already roleplayed with a few players that my character has been working for the GMG for a while, which is why in the biography she has already been in GMG for a few years...

Background
As the only son of my family, my birth was celebrated across the small company that my father owned, a modest production chain of farms producing natural foods. We lived somewhat modestly, my family trading what we produced to the larger corporations based in Kusari space to fend off the foreign corporations, such as the Libertonian Synth Foods brand. My father particularly hated those based out of Liberty, though having grown up in better times, my view is different. Foreign competition is good. Anyway, as I was coming of age, my mother passed away. During this time, my father went into grieving and I took up the company. Learning the tools of the trade for myself, I had to make sales and become the face of my father's company. During this time, I made many rises and falls but in the end I had to sell my shares in the company.
Faced with a situation that could not be helped, I took what I had and left to work on Planet Miura, in Okinawa. After seeing an old friend of mine, I was referred to one of the shipyards operated as an associate of the Gas Miner's Guild. After signing on, I worked my way through the ranks to a management position, where I found myself in charge of many workers from many walks of life. Offering our services to GMG members and other Kusari corporations, it was here I learnt much from passing captains, from unknown jumpholes and backwater planets to trustworthy corporations and where the good work was, but I also learnt where to where to get the best money. When I had worked up enough money to buy my own transport I set out into the stars. To be fair, from there it was smooth sailing.
Although I didn't start off my runs as a gas miner, after a few years of trading my eyes soon turned back home. Venturing across the border sectors and dodging asteroids and pirates soon brought too much attention to my shipping routes and like many other times in my life, I had to change my tactics to survive. Making my way north to Okinawa to visit my old company, I was referred to the GMG properly. With some money that I was able to stash away, I was able to purchase a used ship from a failing company, and now here I am, to offer my transport services.
