I think its an american way of thinking and doing of things. Putting bandage on an issue that actually requires treatment. Education? Let's put more money, theres another bandage. You can cancel all the fancy tools and ways for people to "powertrade" - but it doesn't matter, because the economy is messed up right from the begining.
Xoria finds it reasonable to have ores that sell at 9k per unit, while he bombards the mod with endless normal commodities that dont pass the 4k. So, with that being said - I don't care about the new implementations, but I'd really love to see less restrictions and more creativity. Otherwise, Things will be the same - Pirates will only pirate places where there are ores and /or routes to the ore/out from the ore systems. is that the piracy we want? Because the Ore is so unique to humans and it sells so good it should also be located where the sun doesn't shine, How about Iota? You want ore? Do it with your own risk. Theres a solution for you guys. ( Oh excluding Dublin because of tradition and.. simplicity and good history of fun )

Were fools to make war on our brothers in arms.

Meaning that any ship with a cargo holder GREATER than 3600 can not jump. Battleships have half that.

This will work out in one of two ways: The traders will get the message and start using the lanes and interacting with the rest of the server, or they'll stop playing altogether.

Why would they stop playing altogether... If a trader jumps and that's it, it kinda explains a lot. At least using trade lanes you can have RP encounters!

"You'll see" isn't really the answer I expected from you. By any chance, do you jump trade a lot? It looks like it and you might be slightly annoyed. This is going to be for the better because traders will RP for once. Piracy can happen more, thus more RP. BUT wait, I forgot that people don't like losing money for a small RP encounter.
