Official Faction Spring Cleaning

Okay, I have come to an idea, it's going to cause a stir, it's going to cause a big stir. Frankly it's such a controversial idea that the wisdom of keeping quiet has not escaped me.

Before I post this I must warn that I will not tolerate a flame war, if I even think I see one starting I will get a mod to delete the offending message, if you have an objection to this please post your reasons calmly and rationally.

Here goes nothing.

My suggestion is that all factions created prior to the admins taking control of the whole process, repost their faction status in the Faction Creation Forum.

Here's why, some of these factions may be a little out of date, diplomacies, ship lists, weapon lists, this would be an opportunity to give your faction a kind of 10,000 mile service, a peek under the hood as it were. I do not believe that this should comprimise the official status of these factions, unless it is seen that these factions no longer meet the minimum five active members required for a faction to be official.

I'm in support... QCRF status needs some work, and it would be a great place for people to ask wtf? about parts they misunderstand, as well as keep it in tune with the ongoing RP. Faction status's are just soo big, things are missed. Do we get a subforum for it, or just post in the faction requests?

Actually, leaders are supposed to keep their factions upto date. I'm not sure if the already rooted factions would agree to put their status threads over there..

Not exactly reapply DBoy, just open themselves up to an overhaul of their current practices and general status, it might also have the added bonus of improving interest in some factions that may be suffering from a lack of activity.

Bingo Sovereign, exactly that, clarifications and edits, it would allow them to recieve feedback on how there faction is doing as well
