Anyway, right or wrong, leaving things too long is probably better than rushing headling into things in this context, I would think, no?

I have to agree with Adrian here. Admins are humans aswell, they have real lifes aswell, which they place above a decade-old space combat simulator. They will get to it in their own time. Don't expect them to just say "Ah, screw life. Let's play on Disco." and actually come and do it. They're not going to do that.
