I just want to thnk Lohingren and the rest of you RoS for taking this seriously, it's always good to have a clear out, dust everything down, as it were, and it's good to hear from you guys why you do things the way you do. I'm certain there will be more qustions, but this prooves that this idea can work without turning into a flame fest. I hope to see more threads like it in the future.

Oh and while I think of it, the blood dragons dislike the use of cardamine, not the people who use it, besides which they're allied to the GC, who are cadamine users so why wouldn't they be friendly or better with the outcasts?

Ehm again. GC are in Kusari. GC are fighting against Kusari government.
Outcasts are NOT helping them in Kusari.
They need every ally they can get in Kusari.
That doesn't mean that they like the GC. It just means that they need each other.
Actually, they have totally different goals, except the one about removing Kusari government.
Outcasts have nothing in common with the Blood Dragons.
If you read about BD you will find out that they are very honorable people.
They are actually fighting against corrupted Kusari. They are good in the whole story.
Outcasts are plain evil.

Plus of course the novapg are the only other faction who regularly get corsair fleets into their home system.

Which fleets? If you'r referring to indies, that's a no-no.
If you see the TBH or Benitez invading Chugoku, then you'd have a point.
Since that happens like never, you don't have a point.

Blood Dragon HF shouldn't be used by anyone who isn't a Blood Dragon.
Not even GC. I don't agree with any arguments stating the opposite.
Also, a Blood Dragon would never run from their brethren and join the Outcasts instead.
They are completely different factions.
Blood Dragon bomber is ok I guess, but more for GC and less for OC (since they have a Falcata).

Mjonlir also gave a good example. Would you agree with Corsairs flying a Black Dragon HF once it's out instead of Titans?
I know I wouldn't. It is an allied ship, but it's supposed to be flown only by Hogosha.
And even more important, Corsairs have no idea about FLstat and all that we know here.
In their eyes, Titan is the best ship in space. It has more armor then anything else in the edge worlds.
In RP, armor is much more appreciated then agility.
Order allied with the Corsairs only to get similar armor technology for their ships.

In my opinion, every faction's goal is to be respected by the community.
In my opinion, every faction can gain more respect by being more strict on their ships/weapons.

You are not the only ones with this problem, but the subject is about the RoS.
Same way I don't like seeing SA in Raven Claw instead of Guardian/Avenger.
Or LSF in Guardian/Avenger instead of RC.

Same way, I don't like the NovaPG using Krakens. Inferno is OK, krakens are not.

One more thing I have to add.
There was one day when you first attacked the CR in Tau-44..
Later that day, you came to New Berlin.. RM proceeded to Dresden, and you followed there.
It seemed to me like : "Plenty of us online, let's find a decent opponent to fight.. Oh, RM is there!"
You had no reason to go to New Berlin. You had even less reasons to go to Dresden.
I joined the fight later on my RHA, but I wasn't very impressed by your doings.
Attacking CR is ok, since they are close. But don't complain later when you get a counter-attack:P

Anyway, all of my complaints/suggestions are posted here with best intention - for you to improve as much as you can.
To be honest, you guys really are fair in-game, and I have nothing against you on that point.
We always had nice and fair fights.

Also, a very brave move with this thread. Kudos to you for that.
If only more faction leaders did the same thing, we could all improve a bit real fast.
Just don't get mad because of negative context and give up on RoS.
I know I did after my BSG thread. So I'm talking from experience.

I have a couple of pointers, even with a breather mask from what ive read that wouldn't stop you getting addicted to cardy as its in everything not just the air.

Also when the Hogosha get there new fighter how would you feel seeing someone in the Brotherhood flying one?.

Apart from me rather not seeing Outcasts flying BD ships everything else seems cool.

Chopper give your self a brake bud. Before you bust a blood vessel. We dont often attack RM. And what. You saying its ok for you to role through Alpha all the time without so much as a trader to escort. Just in looking for a fight bud.

And also remember somthing this is a big Mod. Theres alot of ships. People do have the right to use them if they are with RP. And no one can complain about weps being used cause if you stop 1 you will need to stop them all. And by this i meen Super Novas, Infernos all of these weps that can only be obtained in certain places. Wether or not we are allies on paper they could still be within thiere RP rights to use these items. I personaly use a full OC loadout so do most of RoS as far as i know. Because the Krakens are good. And to be honest the Blood Dragon weapons do suck big time. And i think they are rather unbalanced in comparison to some others. And it would be possible for different races swapping technoligy To help against common threats. I dont say this dosnt happen in real life. And i imagine it will not change much through time.

And also remember alot has change in Freelancer since the vanilla version. The rumers are still there. But there are also as many things pointing to the facts that have already been stated in this thread.

Maybe if more factions were a little more dynamic. Obviously these things always need limitations. Then we wouldnt have so many unused Factions in the game. Due to them being ill equiped and so on.

Ive been without internet for over a month so I don't really know whats been going on in that time .. I do remember some people using the awing or something because the Corsair light fighter is bugged and waiting to be fixed so thats the only reason why they are flying a none Corsair ship.

He means the Tiger Shark... which isn't actually IMG, either. It's sold on an IMG base though.

The problem there though is that BOTH Corsair LFs are bugged, both Arwing and Decurion. The Tiger Shark is sold on the open market, so is the only alternative, really.

This is similar to the Outcasts using Rogue or Hacker gunboats, which isn't an issue.

And a reply to that could be is The sabre is a vanilla ship all of those are bugged as soon as you add Nuke mines into the equation. Or explosives of any kind. And we do come up against factions that fly full non vanilla ships. There has to be a ballance.
