The fact of the matter is this, I've got friends here and this is flood, it's been cut down so that we could only post ANYTHING related to a show that I and others enjoy, The thread is no different to any other thread discussing things unrelated to freelancer except that discussion has been cut down to one thread, this is something that applies to literally nothing else.

While that annoys me that there is this rule applied to ponies that is applied to literally nothing else I can live with it, I'll keep it inside a thread just let us have a thread, it's clearly marked and not hurting anyone.

WELL TECHNICALLY gytrash everytime you post on the forum, you post another 2 pictures from that show outside of your designated thread. via your signature and avatar.

so no its not really truely ever been 'locked into the single thread so theres no big deal xd' as you like to claim.

Signatures and avatars have always been considered an exception to that rule ever since it was implemented back in 2011.

I specifically asked at the time the rule was implemented.

Also, the stored location of my signature and Avatar has not changed in a Loooooooooooooooong time, if it does not please you then everyone has adblock and so far it's not been violating any forum rules and I get to have something I enjoy in my signature and Avatar.

For the record I'm fine with the thread being open and ponies getting posted even outside of that thread. It's just a fun band wagon to ride is all. Before long if this spiderman thing keeps up it might become a target too. Crowds are fickle, who knows.

For signatures and avatars that you personally don't like or that annoy you yet don't break forum rules there's this thing you can do.



I've used this myself for quite some time for avatars that upset me.

If you feel that an avatar or signature violates forum rules then report it, but my signature and avatar are there as an easy identifier and also for me, because I like them.

Well thats all fine, nobody suggested you were breaking a forum rule, since the mods are always itching for any excuse to exercise their powers. on topic though I would agree that your thread should be re-opened...


If you trade it for your avatar and signature, and anyone elses that contain the same.. thing. sure its not against the rules, but is really still posting ponies outside of the ponies thread regardless of what you say.


What that really is, is just loopholing the system..


So that ponies can be posted in every thread right under everyones nose without opposition!

This would only hold true had I not asked the moderators at the time who made the rule specifically about Avatars and Signatures and if the rule applied to them, if they had wanted that blocked it would have been added to the rules then.

This is a clear cut case of misdirection your honour.

pretty sure ive done enough rp on this server that is more gooey than that show could ever be.

from a technical standpoint the show is fine, its well animated and the voice cast is good. However like starwars being exposed to its rampant drooling fanbase wanting to 'spread the word' to every possible place they can. like dandelion seeds in the wind.

cant go anywhere without seeing or hearing about it, THAT is annoying, so made a little snoopy buddah statue and prayed to it for shutting down that thread.

Thankfully Dii, there's a very simple solution to your predicament of "seeing or hearing about it" everywhere.

The point is that the mere fact that 2.4 exists in the first place is ridiculous and arbitrary, but that they felt the need to eliminate the one place excepted from 2.4 is pretty outrageous.
I'm sure there's tons of stuff posted in Flood constantly that some people hate, like the aforementioned Spiderman.
