Liberty Navy [LN] Feedback Thread

So I accidentally said in a chat today that [LN] have higher standards than other Liberty factions, then 30 minutes I find myself in this situation:

And it made me wonder - what puts [LN] apart from the 5th or SFC or 41st of the Liberty Navy these days?

I am going to be posting in the =LSF= feedback as well, even though I know Jayce doesn't care.

What puts [LN] apart? I suppose the multitude of varied roleplay with a large amount of factions throughout Sirius, the rather stringent recruitment requirements, and the high standard we hold ourselves to both inside and outside of game.

Two out of context screenshots alongside some kind of veiled insult are not things that are going to "improve" anything. Specifically, in this scenario, we brought out a total of (1) cloaked dreadnought, the Cloverfield, in order to get a kill on your regular jump-drive equipped dreadnoughts. As it's impossible to stop the jump-drive process, it's essentially a "haha no blue for you xddddd" button that can be used to get yourself out of trouble scot-free, so we decided to level the playing field.

If I remember quite correctly, this pitched battle (as it began, but I guess including those screenshots would ruin your argument) actually began in your favor, but eventually Liberty got the upper hand. I apologize that you lost this battle, but I simply don't see the problem here.

But once you are done with the Jumper, why are you not the responsible faction that at least leaves your ship out of the gank? Surely the 10 other ships should be enough to handle 3-4 snubs? Isn't that what those "higher responsibilities" are about?

The guy in the [LN] blue msg wasn't a cap either.

I also didn't lose, I duelled one guy that asked that I let him go as I was winning because he was lagging (then of course I found him in the battle later), and I didn't fight you because I saw what you were doing. Don't try to imply that a bruised ego is at play here, I am just curios regarding your way of playing the game.

You're correct. The Scylla-class Destroyer is definitely classified as a fighter. My mistake, I'm completely incorrect.

edit: Also, I do believe pretty much all of the caps left once they were done with the Sarissas and the Scyllas, at least the [LN] one did.

If you've any other screenshots or proof to send along, I'd love to. I'm currently staring at the screenshot of a Scylla dying to the [LN] cap, and nothing else concrete whatsoever.

We've already addressed this privately, your supposed concern was nothing more than a conjecture based on how you thought the [LN] would act which was proven untrue.

Again, if you have any other concerns to address or evidence to add, please do so. Otherwise, I don't really see any issue.

Kudos to you guys for the interaction in NY just now. It was good to see the [LN] actually initiating hostilities against a group they're at war with again rather than letting indies or BHG| fight for you. Maybe next time we can do it with even numbers. That's not a veiled insult or anything, I understand that some people have to have the incentive of an assured win to start going on the offensive again.
