Also, not sure if you know yet, the Gallic Armored Transport uses the exact same cockpit as Pirate Transport(seeing part of the pirate transport) Just letting you know in case you aren't aware.

Suggestion for ships with visible forward guns put the model for the gun mount there seeing as it is incredibly unlikely that anyone will mount another gun there.

Changing files for pvp sake is cheating as well as modifying cargo and things like that. Changing cockpits is equal to using mods like the Swag Pack which only affect you. In theory you can get an entire bar and use it as a cockpit if u like it. I changed the path from the already used by disco cp ini files to redirect them to the new cps. But the new ini files and the modification in the shiparch were noted by the server security as cheat even if the changes were about cockpits. That is why you have to use the old shiparch ini and all will be fine.

Thanks for bringing this. The gallic trading ships are nearly on the end of my list so I did not check what cockpit they are using and if its gona cause such issues. Noted. (It will not be an issue if/when they get accepted cuz then each ship will have its own ini file - those that share 1 ini for example.)

I did a test with that. Since the gun is unable to move it will just sit there and if you fire from an angle the shot might not come from its center. Also it damaged the view screen a little. I will see what can be done when reach them for buff.

I think the shiparch.ini file is triggering the anti cheat. I keep getting kicked every time I have your modded version. I replaced it with my old shiparch.ini and everything works fine. Might want to look into that or give it to the admins/devs to look at.

Yes snoopy, that is the problem that is why I added the info below the download. I did create specific files for such ships using same cockpit but the shiparch is not allowing me to use them cuz it cant be modified by others than the devs. So using the old one is fine but some ships will not benefit of cps yet.

Update: Did modifications and added console for the player so he wont feel like an observer. Added keyboards for each pilot and the player. The left and right planes will be further modified. Also collumns with bret flag were made thinner but will be replaced with better ones.

From the ships you listed:
- scylla and outcast bs are part of the "unlawfuls" pack and will come later.
- Renzu liner have no cockpit because I am not doing "single" special cockptis for rare ships (thats plan for the future though - like kusari imperial yacht, luxury yacht, geisha, renzu and etc expensive and rare ships)
- Percheron have no cockpit cuz its small and don't need one - but its no problem to add a path to one empty like the firefly
- Shire and Shetland both work for me. Are you sure? (The shiparch.ini for Shire is leading to dsy_bret_ctrans, which is using br_transport_firefly_cockpit.cmp)

Right, totally forgot about that readme.
Checked again, Shire does work now, maybe I was blind (Shetland did before already).

I'll try to add paths myself to make all my transports/liners have that cockpit.

Looking forward to the unlawful pack!
The Rogue cockpit looks badass (but could you change the pilots to the LH/RH ones? The current ones look more like RM officiers.)
Will you make a bridge (outside view) for the Scylla and Outcast BS?

@Narcotic, To make it accurate I had to check all npc helmets in game when you "hail" an npc ship, part of these factions. So whatever mask they were wearing I took it as "their faction" one. Some npcs have multiple masks - few of them - but the rest were using "their faction" helmets. My point is I am trying to make it corresponding as much as possible. But since I plan to further upgrade/change them - the visible parts of the pilots will be the helmets and not so much of an issue. (If you refer to the skull image of the RHA ones, it can be changed if LR/M insist)

Here is my list of ships for the Unlawful pack. Most of them will have visible parts, exceptions are few BHG which bridges are on the nose and nothing is to be seen.

PS: If you want to modify the path for a certain ship - go in Data\Cockpits\Discovery and find the right ini file. Change the path to the one u want and thats it. As long as you don't touch shiparch ini you wont get kicks. Still check shiparch for which ini file is being used and see if multiple ships are using it. For example several liners are using dsy_liner so if u modify it, all others will use it (which is meh). But if/when they become official these problems will be easily resolved.
