As I was quietly enjoying my brunch and my tea on Cambridge this morning, a friend of mine called and urged me to turn my network-radio on the frequence 265.2. As I did so, I heard the most calumnious emission ever, apparently broadcasted by some Corsairs as propaganda. I recorded the whole transmission, so that you can hear by yourself.
I feel such misinformation should not be tolerated, and that an official announcement about the Queen position regarding [OTC] and [OPG] would be needed.

//Hum, if I might voice my personal idea on this. The Queen cannot let die the Corsairs families and children, cause she cares about Human beings and that would be bad for Bretonia image. On the other hand, she cannot help the Corsairs "Nation" either. So one solution for Bretonia could be to broadcast that Corsairs and their families that will leave the Omegas and ask for political asylum will be accepted and treated. Of course, they would be placed on a highly secured remote area of Bretonia, and closely monitored, interrogated, and so on. That would force them to act again, or just look at their nation to disaggregate.

The nurses here are all wonderful ladies. I think I may even be in love with one.
The doctor says I should be ready to return to duty any day soon. My leg is still a bit sore and I will have to have a med-bot accompanying me, but Meadows tells me the new hussar that arrived can easily accomodate him.
Uncle Roger tells me the attack on Cambridge has meant that he has been posted to the southern borders, so you may run into him on his patrols in Cambridge. He doesn't mean to be a snobbish, xenophobic ignorant buffoon, and actually is a decent fellow. If you see him, be sure to say hello.

I met our newest officer, Constable Blake Sullivan, in New London this evening. Being relatively new myself, I didn't have anywhere near the funds he needs to requisition his ship and weapons from the quartermaster. I gave him what little I had so he could at least get some better weapons on his Starflier. Together, we then patrolled to Cambridge for a mission against some Corsair light fighters.
On a side note, I made peace with the Mollys in honour of our current arrangement with the Union of Gold.

First and most importantly, a citizen came to me to report a Corsair pirate. I have enclosed an image of my communication logs about the incident.
Secondly, after attempting to round up some Corsairs on my own, I realized that my Starflier was grossly insufficient for the job. Therefore, though it doesn't fit perfectly within BPA protocol, I purchased a Cavalier light fighter with some of the funds given to me by Constable Higgins. Since it is a Bretonian craft, I doubt there will be any problem with me using that until I acquire the funds to upgrade to a proper BPA craft.

Sirs,
Today, after some biscuit and a little tea, I started a patrol in the system Leeds.
After a short meeting with the constable Blake Sullivan, a red contact appeared on my scanners.
One lane hackers named Kassad came by the Magellan Jump Hole and was headed toward the planet Leeds. When I asked him what he had just done here, he said he was looking for traders or cops..
So I asked him to leave Leeds on the field but he refused to execute the order and he engaged me when I found him not far from the Dublin's jump hole
After 20 minutes of battle, my Hussar was destroyed because a mistake of automatic setting of the mine that I had to dump ....
This lane hacker is himself as a cop killer .... Can be useful to keep an eye on i read he returned to Bretonia.

Dire news,
Today I was contacted by an associate in Gateway, a man I have known since my days in Ageira. He stated that there was a terrorist in New London with 3000 Bretonian prisoners, demanding the peace talks with the Mollies be stopped! I launched form Cambridge as quickly as humanly possible, and came unto New London hearing sounds of what I can only assume were screams. A terrorist named Conn.Sullivan was exchanging Molly prisoners for Bretonians, and threatening to kill one each time an officer came within 10k without an offer of a Molly. A QCR ensign was already there, panic stricken, not knowing what to do. The terrorist asked for a leader of negotiations, and, before I could respond, as the ensign was in no condition to negotiate, Juno Keitan assumed a leadership position in the negotiations! At this moment, an ion storm hit, and I am currently unable to move my ship in any way, shape, or form. I can't bear to think of what is going on outside my cockpit....

Subject: ATTEMPTED PIRACY INCIDENT
Sirs,
We wish to file a report regarding an attempted piracy of one of our transports.
A Stiletto class Fighter ship call-sign Kassad, LaneHacker ID and Tag, attempted to extort 1mil credits from one of our transport vessels that was en route to the LD14 station with a consignment of boron. The ship engaged our transport near the Stokes Station.
Our pilot managed to down the fighter and dispatched drones to clear the debris. There was no sign of an escape pod but the ship log indicates that the pilot had ejected successfully. The asteroid field disrupted long range scans, but we suspect a Molly patrol may have picked him up.
We understand from news reports that this may not be an isolated incident regarding this particular pirate and that he may be the subject of an ongoing investigation.
