As you no doubt are already aware, the server was moved to a new location. From Germany, to France.

Kruger Gas-Wagon aside, here is a legit question: since the server is out of Germany, can we reference nazis again?
Especially in the context of Rheinland, which was modeled after the 20th century Germany. Especially if you look at Unis.

I mean, we already have drug use, references to slavery, murder and killing, so the only reason we could not reference space nazis was due to the server location, or so one of the previous threads were answered.

Or are we really just selectively sensitive about historical events? Wasn't funny Spazzy - Pavel

Honestly, I get the impression that it was banned more due to people finding the phrase distasteful, with the legal situation just being a convenient fig leaf.

That said, Rheinland players. You keep using Nazis and / or Nazi uniforms in your comm bars. Wat r u doin'.

Nazism is illegal everywhere not just in Germany but in France and all other EU countries. Why would a French server company support a game that justifies Nazi activities through the open use of Nazi references in RP.

There are some lines that you just don't cross and this one of them.

Alley said no, it's still not allowed.
ISIS or Islamic Terrorist references may be tolerated less than they were before as well.

Regardless of what Germany, France or any other country says, it's always going to be more trouble than it's worth and thus should be avoided. The second world war is a big deal in our lifetimes, and even Nazi-related references that are not meant in an offensive manner are never going to be far away from hot water.

Maybe in a generation or two, memories will fade and the whole thing will been seen in a different light. Right now, it's just asking for trouble.

pretty much this. It's still a complicated topic these days and we don't need the negative attention.

I agree it's best not to mention it.
But honestly, people are being way to sensitive.

Letting the community in on this is the same as letting the community do stuff with KKK....
