This is a temporary solution. Currently there's a massive imbalance as there's absolutely nothing to counter these.

2. I also think Jump Drive free escape is too easy and need a counter. But a fair counter is needed. Even light fighters can mount a cheap CD. Where is the balance?

So a bad solution could be good because it's temporary? This is a wrong way of thinking, and such thinking costs the mod much. Now jump drives exist for more than 3 years, and they received not a single nerf during their existence. But after it was announced there would be special ways to disrupt them you simply can't wait anymore and want a toy to play with, even if it will simply nullify certain previous achievements of the mod. Don't forget, excessive nerfs bring dissatisfaction, whether it's ships or equipment, IDs, tech allowances or something else. And disco lost a lot of players because of such things. So don't advocate for temporary 'solutions', wait for the devs to release it in a proper balanced way.

Yeah CD jumpdrive disrupting would literally kill their current military use, even if it leads to bad gameplay.

Once jumpdrive disruptors and beacons drop at the same time, they'll be more useful and less unbalanced related to death avoidance.

It wouldn't kill their military use. They'd still be able to jump into fights, and they could still jump away if they're out of CD range. Right now it's just broken ;-;

At least is there any sort of ETA you can give us?

ETA when I'm currently rebuilding all the plugins (and doing major modifications to most of them) would be like Valve time. I still don't know what I have left to do to finish the upgrade (and thankfully we're only doing that once), so bear with me.

OR you could like not abuse such toxic material, break the rules by flying a KU BS into iota, then using terrible RP and escaping.
