Transferring credits between characters

I transfer money between characters all the time. Come to think of it i cannot remember the last time i trusted anyone with my money.

Here is what you do:
Create another user account on both your computer and on freelancer.
Log in on different accounts on both users
transfer money between the two
Repeat as neccesary

This works, kind of. However, if you'll notice the link I put in the previous post, if someone betrays your trust you're none the worse off.

I've used SA for my transfers, I think it was SA John Talon both times even... you can most certainly trust official factions, for it they try anything at all then they're out.

As long as you screenshot the request for transfer, their acceptance (both before the tradescreen), the tradescreen itself, you're golden.

I think your method is in fact not allowed, because It consists in connecting with two accounts with the same IP, which is against server rules.
You might want to check this thread.

As pointed out, SA, LSF, LPI or Angels are your best choices in NY.

That dude was trying to actively play 3 different chars wasting 3 slots on the server. That is quite a far cry from logging on with a second char for a few seconds to do a transfer.

And using 2 accounts to transfer was mentioned in that thread, and no admin said they would not allow it.

However you really can trust anyone in an Official Faction. Well, if they really want to play on Disco, that is. I would suggest bringing up the rosters and politely asking someone who has obviously been in said faction a while. They will be trustworthy.
