The Tower of London is owned and run by Bretonia Mining and Manufacturing, situated just 10K away from the Dublin jump gate in the New London system the station is the primary storage depot for all BMM affliated miners to deposit their gold ore within a short distance from the gold fields in the Dublin system. This keeps miner travel time down, allowing gold and with it a great number of credits to flow through Bretonia.

As well as acting as the primary storage depot for gold ore within Bretonia, gold is sold directly from the Tower of London to its customers in order to cut out the middle man, allowing BMM to slash prices well below that of their competitors whilst maintaing a more than healthy profit margin. This means the company is able to grow and expand their operations in the local area, providing jobs to a great number of people from Planet New London.

Gold ore that is not directly sold on to BMM's customers at the station is often shipped out by either BMM's transport division or other contractors including Bowex and independent shippers to paying customers all around Sirius, anything left over is shipped out to other BMM facilities across Bretonia where it will be smelted into gold ore, although the majority of ore destined to be smelted down by BMM is usually processed at Graves station in the Dublin system.
