Kid piloting is also a good way to explain why you suck at PvP.
Well, it could be a good explaination indeed, but kid in a starfighter? Looks curious for me
I won't even speak about capitals
I don't really care about the anime pictures, but if you keep posting oversized images I'll just go and remove 25 millions off your ships for each oversized picture. Don't waste mods' time pls.

Something reasonable like a freighter or heavy fighter at most (combat vessels and larger transports I wouldn't touch). Maybe a civ shuttle, I don't know. The reason why I don't like light fighters is because they're extremely fast and fragile, leaving a lot of room for error if the pilot is a little kid without good hand-eye coordination (inRPly speaking of course).

"Back on topic", my ass. It's by far not about the capability to fly, but the required maturity and responsibility to fly. Of course it's easy to miss the train of though if you bury it below tons of retarded images.
Underage flying, even with an AI around, is just silly, trying to justify it with "different aging lenght in future", "quicker mental maturing" or similar farfetched ideas is just a forceful attempt to overstretch a sensible (yet) sci-fi environment.
But of course what can one expect from a community where certain elements can't even roleplay without (oh so original) half-human half-animal hybrid characters, or similar aberrations? With those things around, some toddlers commanding warships wouldn't be too outstanding, would they?

I never said anything about toddlers in warships. It all depends on how "underage" you define underage to be. Some parts of the U.S. trust 16 year olds enough to let them drive/have independence, with 15 year olds having learner's permits. Hell, 17 year olds are allowed to enlist in the military with parental consent. I'd imagine something similar would be considered mildly acceptable.
