Considering there was just a really big fight between OC and Corsairs, how about the next event is an Outcasts vs Corsairs one? Events, story developments and raids in general on that front have been somewhat stale. It'd do a lot of good to revive things there.

OC and Corsairs actually have large player bases. The reason why Core got massacred in the second raid is because we don't have indies unfortunately. 98% of our raids are composed of ships with the Core| tag, whereas Alpha can be defended with minimal Cross presence.
If an event was made (and also for good measure put the event in a system that isn't too close to either factions home system) I'm sure Corsairs could get a good turnout.

The California event seemed to be evolving horribly for LN side too, but now both sides are balancing around 2:1 kill ratio, which is, in my opinion, way better than I expected.

well, if the stats were balanced right i.e. higher reward for corsairs, youd see more sairs.
Something that I have noticed piloting a VHF through all these fights. You all whine about Liberty cap spam, but I've yet to see a single Gaul fighter enter the fray.
All I ever see is Gaul Bombers, Gaul Battlecruisers, and Valors.
Most of the time I just fly around and try to bait the gunboats to attack me for an easy kill instead of our bombers.
This whole fight is nothing more than a Capital Ship E-Peen measuring contest. But if there is one thing that counts, it is that the GRN have shown it is not the size, it is how you use it with their Gunboat spammage.
