What about making all mining faction restarts start with sunburst. Like DSE, Kruger, Dauman, BMM ext. Most of the time you restart with those you want to do mining.

Personally i think is not a good idea, just because housed miners should use also the house miner ships, if any... but hey... its just the sense, because the mining mod use that housed miner ships to get maximum bonuses, for example GMG for mining Helium3, they need to use also a GMG miner ship for getting maximum bonuses, I think its more dificult due the mining mod, but... i really dont have idea about how it works exactly.

In another side... the /Restart Beginner.... due it is like a Freelancer miner... I really dont understand why it should be not friendly with other miners, a lot of times my little Freelancer miners company giving a hand to others miners... for example, with GMG... at least we should can dock in their bases, right now our reputation with GMG it is almost hostile and I dont really understand why, because we cannot mine Helium3 and they can mine normal Helium hehehehe.

Maybe just neutral with GMG would be fair, i guess... Sometimes, when there are newbies around and Im teaching them about mining and how to trade, it would be great we can move to Kusari and at least no restrictions for docking, for teach them the usual routes... so pirates will can take some profit from us also hahahaha. Also would be GREAT for the newbies experience! and they will learn better how to interact with pirates and not just shoot in sight like a lot of them do right now.

I understand what tou are saying JohnyWalker. But for a restart with the Sunburst on all the mining factions you will still get id & IFF bonus on the ship. Its a beginner ship and as a new pilot the restart is only to help pilot to get his feet of the ground and will motivate the person to get better ship otherwise we will sit with a restart farming problem again if you put in better restart ships.

Granting any freighter by restarts is not feasible right now because only the Sunburst's price is balanced against starting ship farming, that's why I asked only about that one too. But apparently the one in charge is not interested in that either.

I'm not really sure if this needs to go in the suggestion doc (Since its for changing old restarts) but this is for a new restart that can prove to be very useful.

/restart cameraship

Camera Ship
Admin Shield
Neutral ID
All of Sirius Mapped
Ship Locked so nothing (IDs, Shield and ship) can be unmounted/swapped

However, this restart should be locked with a password like the player faction restarts. Players should have to ask the admins about it telling them what they're going to do with it and if the admin is happy with it they provide them with the password (That should be changed each time the restart is used. This also prevents abuse).

This'll seriously help out people who wish to do media work and with admin backing they can do far more.
