it's still alive, I pushed a proposal to them two days ago. I don't think anyone will deny it's not efficent right now, but there's always potential for improvement.

My Navy ships follow the laws and regulations of Liberty. If it being controlled by devs makes it quicker and more efficient, then I don't mind it.

Maybe it changed then. I remember us wanting to build a pob and we were lucky we managed to get an answer after a month.
I also heard a lot of hunters complain about it not paying out. Though it did that just now.

Edit: unintentional phone double post.

The Coalition Government is highly efficient. (nerd) But in all seriousness the Kepler Crunch event doesn't seem to be attracting much attention. Sad

Government groups are not "official" in any way. They are not endorsed or controlled (and will never be) by the administration or the development team even if some members of these teams are part of some gov entities. They are simply a creation of official player factions in order to streamline house matters and it should stay in player hands.

As for the governmental roleplay, I like how 343 decided to roleplay Emperor Tetsuya. They simply don't, but they forward messages "made" by him, without roleplaying character per se.

As for the governments themselves, I think the main problem of such roleplay is it can be ignored by official lore writers. I mean, it's good there's no complete liberty in leading house or a faction, but on the other hand it may render some efforts into roleplay void and discourage players from roleplaying anything, if their actions would achieve nothing.

So I guess I need to find a way to lobby the removal of embargoes.

Isn't conducting roleplay on behalf of a character exactly the same as roleplaying the character?

I rather meant that said character isn't roleplayed directly, with no single person behind that character.

Just hide a PoB and get plausible deniability from the playerlisters when they see you log from the PoB in neutral space. For example, I hide a base in, say, Bering.

I can then, in-RP, make the claim that I purchased the [Goods of blatantly Rheinland origin] the goods in Bering. The playerlisting scumbag will believe me, because if you're dumb enough to playerlist...
